Good Morning how ya doing today? Pranks. This topic has come up a few times in my writings but today it comes up due to an article entitled FAVORITE PRANKS under the A List search tab on MSN today. Apparently most of the top pranks were pulled off by seniors at various high schools around the country and that is really how it should be. However the picture for the article shows a dyed in the wool smile from a beauty queen finding it hard to put on that fake smile thru strains of fighting back tears due to her dress being pepper sprayed by another contestant. I say another contestant because I did not feel the need to read the article primarily because of a show I try to always watch jaded me from that. The show was the weakest link. Over the past 6 weeks the show has had on movie stars, wrestlers, out of work actors, you name it they are there doing the show and the winner gives the money to their favorite charity. Which is a great and noble cause. The beauty queen show had been fresh in my mind due to the fact the queens were on just a few days ago. The queens however were queens from all walks of life and certainly all pageants were not of the pageants I had been familiar with and again not that I watch pageants but one was a “Miss Latino Look” Come on!... Another was “Miss Wheel Chair” or something of that nature I did not read the banner…”Mrs. America” was one and “Miss Hawaiian Tropic” It was the last two gals that turned me off on the Pageant girls thingy and I will explain why. The whole just of the show was to raise money for that girls favorite Charity... and yes clicks happen and alliances get formed very easily but the Mrs. America and the Miss Hawaiian Tropic gal were there not really caring to raise money for their charity so much as to be hateful and mean to the others and they made no mince about it. I am sure in pageants this sort of tactics and hateful towards other contestants goes on without any help what so ever. I have read and seen movies about Beauty Queen mothers and sisters trying to help their daughter, sister niece you name it to win at all costs and no cost would be too much…death being the answer to a few pranks. I have a hard time calling a prank mean because basically the meaning for prank is to get a jab in and humiliate the victim not kill the victim. But again these two gals were there to win and it was more so the win then the raise for their charity…So that brings me back to the Miss Puerto Rico that had been pranked by someone who pepper sprayed her dress… that did not kill her… but my god…what kind of devious bitch would do something of that nature…Thank god my girls never had been pranked in that way or pranked at all… Winning at any cause makes me think that winning is all that is important to those who do crap like this… Oh well such is life… Hang in there and Happy Hump Day
