forgotten somethings,
left along the side of the road,
a shoe,
part of a chair,
a collection of bottles.
All of these things
once meant something,
had a value
somewhere
to some one.
Now drained,
broken,
discarded,
washed up on the shores
this sea of life.
Waiting for collection,
they vanish from sight,
each piece,
every little piece,
gone
gone away.
