All to hell, i swear...
Took this truck I've been working on, putting money into and my own blood, sweat and tears, to the shop to have the tires replaced, rubber bushings redone and inspected...
Calls my message phone today...
Truck won't pass inspection...
Said truck is stuck in 4 wheel drive... apparently doesn't know about the hub locks for it.. Was only using the electronic button inside the cab...
BUT... the front drive axle is cracked...
How the hell??
Wasn't cracked when I bought it, and I've been under that truck a whole hell of a lot not to notice it... Apparently it's a hairline crack, very small, but dangerous..
Tells me it'll cost some serious dough to fix it...
More then twice what i paid for the damn thing to begin with...
Now I have to give the old junkyard another one of my vehicles for almost nothing...and I'm without transportation once again..
I wouldn't even be in this bind I'm in if I could have used a phone to make calls around on decent vehicles the first time around..
I had asked family to call, gave them the numbers and all of that. I asked, close to 100 times, in a three month span... ONE vehicle got called on... A rustbucket Dodge Dakota 4x4.. I mean, in really bad shape.. but it was at a dealer's place... $2700 was the price.. wtf?
Times like this, when you feel the world is against you, when all is riding on or depending on one damn thing, that you just want to say screw the world..
