Silvers Rock Report It has been a long time since I went out and saw any bands. But last night, since I was invited so nicely, I decided to go out to Dante's and see Portland's hottest Motley Crue tribute band, Same Old Situation and Portland's best Guns N Roses tribute band, Appetite for Deception. I wasn't sure how it would go, seeing as how I kinda left the business on bad terms. So I was a little nervous as I entered the bar. I didn't see anyone I knew when I first arrived, so I made my way quietly to the back bar. I ordered a coke (I don't drink alcohol) and sat down at the bar. It wasn't more than 5 minutes when I heard my name. "SILVER!!!!!!!!!!" I looked up to see several of my fans. It was so good to be welcomed again. Pretty soon you could hear the guitars and drums warming up, doing a last minute sound check, then the lights went down. Same Old Situation was on stage. They opened with Motley Crue's latest new release, "Saints of Los Angeles" and they ROCKED it! Here are a few pics, from my old crappy ass camera, of Same Old Situation.

They definitely rocked the house! The fans loved them! They are sounding better than ever!! Next up was the Guns N Roses tribute band, Appetite for Deception. These guys are amazing!! They never disappoint the crowd. Even when Axl M. forgot the words to "Mr. Brownstone," the crowd just sang it for him! lol They totally rocked "Chinese Democracy." Here are some pics of AFD.

I had a great time and it was good to see everyone again. I did detect a little bad blood with a few people, but all in all, it was a good time. Thank you to Same Old Situation and Appetite for Deception and to my fans. I've missed you all!! Rock On Baby!! Silver
