D-Rock and I just got back from another NYC trip. Things are just about finished as far as the band goes...This is where the album gets turned over for mixing and mastering. Derek and I did some more work to a track called "Telvolli Angels" that I feel really strongly about, but is on the fence as to whether or not it will make the record. I think it came a long way. Couple more tweaks, and fingers crossed...it may just make the cut.
In other exciting news...adding to the amazing amount of talented musicians on the record, you can add Matt Beck ( www.mattbeck.com ) to the list. Matt is an amazing multi instrumentalist who has been on the road as the "go to guy" for Matchbox Twenty, Rob Thomas, Ari Hest, Lisa Loeb, and just recently asked to hit the road with Rod Stewart! Matt plays every instrument you could imagine, and does them all ridiculously well! He came in and added some flavor to the record that I feel sent things to the moon! Thanks again Matt for your amazing work, and for all the stories! (BTW...I am totally scooping up one of those Fulltone pedals)
