The Kiss
Once she closed her eyes,
I gave her my entire soul.
Just for a small perpetual moment,
She fed hungrily.
Like the sunlight drinks dew,
Her lips part from mine,
Leaving me naked and vulnerable.
At that moment the world stopped,
Everything was motionless.
She could devour me.
I pushed back to her lips for safety.
She obliged gladly.
In this bond I find peace,
She releases my soul.
We remain personified there,
For eternity.
