When a leader seeks recognition, it does not mean he is at the point of arrogance. Leaders just strive to be significant and thus create greatest impact and influence. These are the types of leaders that we value the most; inspired by their courage and resiliency. They also seek to emulate them to be able to be remembered fully, even if not acknowledged.
These kinds of leaders are reviewed for their reverence. They are those who instinctively gravitate towards an ultimate goal since they are more aware of their respective positions and responsibilities. Leaders that are self-aware are clear about their identity and expectations have the backs of others and can be trusted.
Given these definitions, we can assume that leaders can be proud while being humble. These kinds of leaders are the most memorable. They are remembered and admired because of their own uniqueness and approach that are stronger and unified without the pretense of just being recognized.
