A long time ago on a social site far far away....

A long time ago when this was site was called called Lost Cherry... .
Baby Jesus , Scrapper and the rest of the Fubar family......
..decided to make their own site, hoping that it would be a cool place to chill...a land for adults...community regulated...a place to escape, and far away from the lies , spam and emo children of myspace....
..imagine this site with No VIP, No Happy Hours, No Bling Packs, No Blogs, No Top Anything of the week, Top Photos of the Hour, No Bling, No ability to comment on bulletins, No Block features, No Privacy Settings, The Highest Level was 20, No Salute Pictures, No Amber Alerts, the most expensive gift cost 10,000 fubucks, No Fupal, No Tickers, the term "NSFW" was not created yet...it was called "adult"...
..you could be 13 to join the site. There were no angels or devils, no godfathers, It had less than 70,000 profiles (the actual member count no one knows), No Crushes, No sticky bulletins, There was a Top Bulletins page, Only one style of homepage that was centered, No Mumms, When you hit level 20 you got a bold name that was grey, everyone else other than the greens, yellows and reds had a grey name, no zoorag, no playrag, there were about 6 lounges, no stash, no status messages AT ALL, No Auto 11's, no Extra 11's, no 11's period....
..that was a place so many of us used to call home. It was a land before scripts, rates only were the way to win contests ,before greed, Before manipulation, before juggalos, before buzzmeters, before comment bombers, before the scripters and cheaters forced Fubar to impliment the bouncer checks, before you could see who viewed a bulletin or mumm, it was a different place..before the greed liars and cheaters used the system to manipulate people, before people's egos on this site took over, some from those days argue it was a better place and long for its' return...
..but that's not going to happen. We either adapt or leave. And learn a little along the way. That's what this site has been about since the beginning, learning who to trust, who not to trust, and what to do with the people that do you wrong...without a leader it seems the masses follow like sheep since the departure of the few stability bringing members to the site....
...soon those days may return, and all we can do is hope and pray that somewhere in FuLand, there is that spirit of Lost Cherry and hope to rekindle it to all of Fubar land..
a small few members will take it upon themselves to stop the rampage of the cowboys and redneck outlaws that have seemingly prospered through hiding their truth, cheating and manipulation in their abscense....
...there's alot people don't know and need to know.....so goes the tale......
