Well, as many of you know, I have a Fantasy/Action/Romance novel series in the works to be published and available in book stores and on the internet beginning summer of 2007. In the journey the characters have followed, there are many times where the characters found themselves in situations they wanted to be in and others they did not want to. Not all the scenes that would be taking place could be put in this novel series if I was to keep it at the Young Adult category. So the more graphic or detailed scenes needed to be released from my mind and placed somewhere. Here is where they came. There is no general order to these chapters. As they are written up, I will do my best to describe each situation and the people involved in the chapters so that some kind of sense can be made from them. There are so many warning notes on this because the novel is based on Real World acts. Adult themes that mean both good and bad events happening. Because I never know what exactly my head will press me to write, I wanted to cover all bases. I will go back and edit the warning later if I feel the need to.
So call it a disclaimer, or warning... call it what you will.. there are things you would HAVE to know before reading the series and even the side fics that are going on here.
First off the warnings...
(some of this might be repeating what was already said.)
It is a mature series. Not mature as in erotic.. though... it can get that way (the more erotic parts are not going to make their way into the actual novel when it goes for publication next starting year). I mean it deals with adult and mature themes. That includes but is NOT limited to the following:
Drugs
Alcohol
foul lauguage
consentual sexual situations
adulterous affairs
Homosexual pairings (including all gay, lesbian, and bi-sexual)
Gang related situations
Cutting
Suicide
Rape
murder
violence (including domestic violence)
Anything else will probably be redundant.
These are included in the series at scattered portions which is what makes it a continuing series. They are here because every main character has to have their demons to battle and I am not specifically talking about the main antagonist .. or 2.... I mean that within the bigger story, several things will happen to the main characters to test their ... well characters.... Each instance will make the character either break or grow. So as dark as the themes can and will be, they are needed. Sadly, these kinds of things happen in real life and the characters don't live in a fantasy world where every thing is perfect. They will have to face the good and bad that real people face everyday...
It is a series about magic and immortality. So there is spell casting that will be used for many purposes including to erase memories and turn back time. With certain rituals, the dead can be brought back to life. At least 4 characters' stories... well.. Ori and Orifiel were in one body and thanks to a spell were separated into 2 bodies. Sanura had a spell placed on her that created the darker personality called Rose. Rose later had Kalista cast another spell upon Sanura's body to separate them, so instead of 2 bodies with 2 separate people inside them, we now have 4 separate people.
Another thing; The term Guardian is used in the series in regards to certain characters. The immortal characters lived under a different kind of code. When their country was destryed as a result of war, they had to find a way to mix and mingle in the mortal world. In order to do this, they were given mortals they were to watch over; protect... kind of like a light to dark, dark to light situation. So the guardians are NOT like legal parents in this series, though some have taken the sur names of their charges. Sometimes it is hinted that things may or may not have happened between guardians and their charges...
I just felt the need to elaborate so that it is clear there are no incestuous relationships in the series. We carefully worked around those things so they didn't happen.

The other characters belong to smaller famlies. Natara and Bryant Harper- daughters, Kalista and Amera, one son- Amir (dead)
Mark and Malcolm Lewis- no relation. Malcolm was the immortal charged to be the guardian of Mark- just took Mark's last name when he did so.
Mark is still dating.
Malcolm married Aurora's friend Sapphira. They had twins Mason and Trinity.
Dorian Stanson married Kaida's guardian Vanessa Stephens. They have a daughter named Adelle.
It would take forever for me to get into all the characters. These are the main ones.... These are the ones you will most see in the series of short stories I will be posting here. The series is a collection of Side-line Stories that occur involving the characters. Some are based on actual evenst that will occur in the novel, while others are written more for fun. The stories posted here will NOT be found in the actual novel series itself. They have the same themes and warnings as the novel series itself.
This summary has it's own chapter because as I was getting ready to post one of the chapters in the sidelines, I realized how many things I had to have in the warning and try to explain. Not sure how well I did the explanation, but I am certainly willing to answer questions... Anyway, at least now the basics are given. Most everything else can be explained in the fiction itself.
So .. now that I have rambled on... I think I will shut up and take a break before I drive myself completely insane XD!
