Hey were any of you aware that both finalists auditioned in Seattle & the songwriting finalist is from Seattle?? Synchronicity, baby!!! Something in the neverending foggy skies?? But that song from the contest. Did the AI fans pick that one? It just proves that they have no better taste than the producers have. I could write a better song in the shower....and have. Maybe I should submit it next year. Perhaps that's a conflict of interest....
And Jordin actually made it tolerable. With that, I guarantee she's going to win this whole kit & kaboodle. Blake's facial expressions mirrored what I thought of that song. And he did the best that he could with it. But not nearly enough to win. Even Melinda was moved by your performance(or whatever expression Mindy Doo was exhibiting....)See she's not a sore loser!

Anyway, even though Blake did a great job with YOU GIVE LOVE A BAD NAME, it didn't have the same YO factor as before, cuz frankly we saw it BEFORE. It was a smart move on Jordin's part to do a song that she hadn't done on Idol before(FIGHTER) as her opening song. That strategy move & the tailor -made-for-Jordin- sucky- songwriter- festival-winning-song will clinch it for Ms. Sparks.....
