This Thanksgiving remember to...
While you are reflecting this year, there is something and someone(s) else to remember:
Our Service Men & Women!!
And not just the ones fighting in Iraq and Afghanistan!
But all of them, that away from Home!!
Not with Family or Love ones.
As you know I served for 9 years in the Air Force.
My Basic Training Ended the day before Thanksgiving.
And I spent 6 years Overseas.
I made a great 2nd Family in Holland with my fellow servicemen & Women and the couple families that was there. Plus our close Dutch Friends.
But the other years, I was mainly alone.
Yes the Commanders and First Sergeants try to help, but it is not the same.
So please for these Holidays,
Lets give a moment of Silence for the
Men and Women
that are now Protecting our Freedoms!
And all the Ones that have done it in the pass!!
