ugh, i have to go to a book signing tonight for the woman who wrote the book that tormented my spanish class a few years ago. Isabel Allende. niece to Salvador Allende who was shot (everyone was told it was suicide) before Pinochet took over in Chile. i dont think i have all the facts right...so dont take my word on it, but yea she's related to the president before pinochet's dictatorship. sweet. we hated her book tho "House of the spirits". none of us read it...cept susanna cuz she's a goody-two-shoes but w/e.
i get to see my godmother! she's chilean and i love her to death ^_^ cuz she's just so frickin awsome! we have really good conversations with paula (my other godmother who is currently in cairo...again) and easily could loose track of time. yea they both just rock hard and ximena (the chilean godmother) gave me a gag present for xmas last yr; slippers wit toes one the end. i LOVE THEM!! but yea...she's coming, susan's coming...i think louise is coming too...but i could be mixing that up with the bob dylan concert she's going to wit my family (excluding me, i dont like bob dylan). sweetness.
i'm gonna be trying to find other things to do besides sit at the computer. i'm gonna see if i can hang out wit britt (and see zack i hope!) or reese and her bf...i just wanna go back to wilson...and NOT see kenny. i'm gonna see if i can take some pix this time cuz i need pix of my wilson friends since i dont see them often enough. i'm gonna try.
oh thank god we have a two-day week next week. only skool on monday and tuesday. it's gonna ROCK!! cept now every subject (or almost) is cramming in papers. i already have two back to back papers in english, and a study guide that's supposed to be 10 pages long due in Science (i failed the last test). who knows what else. this weekend's gonna suck. but then we get like a 5 day weekend and hopefully not a lot of hw.
thanksgiving is next thursday! then a month and two days later it's xmas! and then i go to jamaica for awhile!! but anyway, i have to go to d-mas, MD for thanksgiving. i get to make fun of jess for being stupid and gettin her nose piercing infected lol. i wont get to see any other friends, only jess, ali, rachel, travis, george, anne s., anne r., and rachel's dad. MAYBE greg and michelle will pop in but i highly doubt it since they're just newlyweds. michelle's parents might have them i guess...but wow she makes good cookies!!
