Ever go to a salon and get your hair done, cut styled however the terminology fit this situation, and are unhappy with the results?
Lauren Newton, 28, of Washington, Pennsylvania, was getting her haircut at her stylist's home on Thursday when she complained about the way it looked. So the hairstylist shot her. Newton is apparently doing OK while the hairstylist, Monique Reed, is in jail on charges of aggravated assault and reckless endangerment. From the Associated Press: Lauren Newton, 28, was getting her hair cut Thursday at the home of Monique Reed when the two began to argue about the style, police said.
"She (Reed) went to the bedroom, got a gun, fired a shot in the ceiling," Police Chief James Blyth said. Newton, who was trying to flee with her sister, was then shot in the lower back, he said. Well my hair cut is scheduled for March 18th and you can be sure I will let Stephanie know how good a job she is doing…or grab a flack jacket just in case… I am thinking Monique Reed needs to take a chill pill more often then biting the bullet.
Here is one for you who thought weird was just one of those things that accompanied the socially unattractive. In Florida… oh imagine that! Seems like I can always rely on Floridians for a good laugh. In early January, when a national deep freeze extended even to the Florida Keys, iguanas fell into their natural hibernation-like torpor, and some compassionate Floridians, unaccustomed to seeing iguanas that appeared nearly dead, took them indoors to warm them up, which is a mistake. The owner of the veterinary clinic in Marathon said one "sweet lady" called him about the five-footer she had dragged inside. "When it woke up," said the vet, "she couldn't understand why it seemed to be coming after her." "When they warm up, they go back to being a wild animal." I like the word torpor it makes me feel important. Oh sorry…I was day dreaming. Ok, lets be honest here… If a Alligator started sleeping on this ladies lawn would she wrestle it inside too? I can’t help but think about this in my mind when that damned lizard warmed up and was like…” Dude? Is this heaven? Holey sugar ($heet works better in this situation but I felt it Iguanas did not use fowl words) I have a house with a view, oh my word there is one of those two legged beast’s with gray moss on it’s head…” Ok, I get the fact that the pore ole lady felt compassion for the Lizard, but to drag it’s ass anywhere to me would be the ocean and let salt water slap its face back to consciousness. You know I should write a book on Animals… like Doc’ Seuss I mean just last night I was trying to fall asleep and the cat… I pause because why… why on earth do these goofy cats when you do not want to give them attention kind of…oh I don’t know just throw themselves at you, and they do that “Here… I will help you out… and put my head underneath your hand and start the petting process…” and heaven forbid you make a movement to pet them! Because they then have you… “oh …oh he does love me…” then the purrring starts and it’s and they can’t get their body back to the original hand quick enough or thrust their butt in your face… and flower… that is the goofy cats name has to be close as ever to your face… I mean when you want to do the “Oh aren’t you just a pretty kitten” thing and get your nose as close to theirs, she has privacy issues and puts her paws up as if to say…”Ok, Mister… I am not that kind of CAT! Back off a bit…would ya?” But when she wants attention… she plops her butt down right on top of your head… like my head is the dang pillow or something…No matter how many times you scold her and say.. “NO!...Go lay down..” She is like “ Dude… I am trying… just let it happen..” then the purring starts again. You know as a kid I was a cat teaser… I mean I tortured the living crap out of cats… honestly I did.. I don’t recall this cats name.. perhaps Tiger… or oh hell I can’t recall, but I did this one thing that I got my ass beat three ways from Sunday. I took a pillow case and I think the cat was just sleeping.. I swooped it up flung it into this “WHITE” pillow case and did the Santa’s Toy bag trick with it… well the cat woke up and dug in, apparently that made me made so I am giving the cat the tilta-whirl flinging around in circles so much that I was dizzy too… relax!! Relax the cat did not slip out of my hand and get hurt, and that was not why I got my ass beat twice… I apparently got so dizzy I could not continue… and my thought process was the cat did not pay restitution for scratching my back, yeah, even though I was at fault… I decided the Tilta-whirl was not going to give me the satisfaction of the G-Force would… Oh and we did not live at NASA Space agency so the Local Maytag was going to have to do… The cat clawing at the pillow case to get out, was then treated to an all expense paid ride in the dryer! You know there is not quite a sound like a cat screaming and thumping in a dryer, almost like drying a pair of tennis shoes… Yeah that pillow case was soiled, the dryer was soiled… My ass was beat three shades of red… but you know what? Ole tiger slept with me that night, as if to say, “ Dude, that was a hell of a ride, but warn me first next time…” and off to sleep we went…

Have a fabulously beautiful day, and don’t complain about your haircut to the stylist. They might be packing… Oh also Cold Iguana is better then Warm Iguana any day and Cats… I just can’t figure them out…
