Another fun Sunday comes to a uneventful end. Yay. And no,I could give a rats ass about football. Watching steroid ingesting thugs chasing a ball on a field isn't my idea of fun. Moving right along...... I've been on a real downloading spree (legal downloads mind you). I've managed to snag some awesome Acid House tracks as well as mixes. There's not much in life in that makes me smile or jazzed...but this stuff does. Nothing like the syncopated beats of a TR-808 / 909 drum machine and liquidy,bubbly,gurgling sounds of a TB-303. Really get's my juices flowing. --------------- And now for something completely different.... A few days ago, the idiot upstairs decides to pound my doors...yelling that music is much too loud. I say through the door..It's not even on 2...it's 8 pm, get a grip and go upstairs. He yells some more. I say,look dick, I never say anything when you and that thing your with have these knock out drag out fights and toss things around. And it sounds like they're throwing cinder blocks for distance and accuracy. Really no joke. Or when they walk around like they're wearing plate metal shoes. So about a hlf hr later I get another knock at the door...this time it's the po po. He says that a noise complaint was filed...I said..Officer...do you hear anything loud here? He says...no. I said, look I haven't turned the music down at all even with the putz upstairs complaining and I heard you as clear as day knocking. He said, Yea, well I'm doing my job. We smiled and that was that....but was it? Yesterday I check the mail and there's a letter (with plenty of typo's) saying that a complaint was also registered with the office. Oh noeesss..does this go on my permanent record? ;) On a lighter note I also got a letter saying I'm supposed to get interest check from my deposit. Nice...more $ to put towards the Mac Mini. Since we're on the subject of annoying neighbors, the people next door are also a riot. People come in and out of there all hours of the day and night. Apparently nobody has a key as they press and hold in the door buzzer. They also haven't figured that a door closes just as good when you don't slam it (at 3 am!). Then they have this annoying little dog that barks at everything. Oh look a dust particle...RUFF RUFF RUFF..at 2 am! Let's see...running car *check*, long garden hose *check*...crack under the door *check and priceless*. Not that I would do this of course...but dare to dream! :) ----------- I watched the pilot episode of the Sarah Conner Chronicles. It wasn't all that bad. I mean, the Terminator series will never be confused with Gone with the Wind but for what it is...it's good. I hope the show got decent ratings and more are made. Oh and if I was to come back as a cyborg clad in human skin , I'd be the annoying bot 2.0. :) ------------
