My breath hangs in the air
Like an icy mist swirling around me
As snowflakes kiss my cheek
Begging for a longer life
Before they swiftly melt away
The frigid cold envelops me
As the wind whispers secrets
Into my attentive ear
Telling me of its woes
And the fleeting memory fades.
