now that we are face to face
we can see yesterday and tomorrow
In your eyes that... look of hunger
The look backward to yesterday
and the wonder, question of where have they gone
You do not remember the days...of the new dawn

and the days passed into years
Yet are now felt of my today's tears
The heat of battles won and lost
Given over to the extreme cost

will we last this famine of the future and past.
