When I was living in Italy like 3years ago, there was a beggar that use to walk down our street (this was when I was married) during the winter time. My son was just an infant at the time so I did not welcome him (the beggar) into my home; although I never believed in having strangers in my home...but I was kind enough to warm up some leftovers and send him on his way.
Yes, he did ask to come inside but I put my foot down on that. Now, if you were in a similar situation such as this, would you do the same thing as me by giving him at least a little bit to get by (Y) or would you just say I'm sorry I can not help you? (N) |
