The difference between military and civilians.
Alot of civilians say there is really no difference between us military and them. Just a uniform and different work hours. Truth is and this is going to shock and piss off alot of civilians. The military is way different from the rest of the world. Especially military wives. They get up with us, wait for us to get off work , sometimes later then usual and sometimes waiting a year or more for us to come home. When is the last time someone who worked in Wal-Mart was asked to go to Iraq to open a store there or fight a war. The military spend countless hours during the day training. Physical training and combat training as well. While we are busy doing that, the wives are taking care of the house, bills, and sometimes kids. It takes alot to earn the right to wear the uniform now days and it takes alot to endure the hell combat will put into you and on you. When a civilian leaves town, it's usually for moving to another town for a better job or to get a fresh start and make new friends. When a military member leaves town it's for a change of duty station or for a temporary duty assignment or long term deployment. And yet alot of civilians say the military doesn't run or own a town it's located in.Thing is , we do. What happens when an entire military unit deploys for a year to a combat zone. Civilian businesses lose money , some lose their jobs and some places close down for lack of income. When we come back , these places that survived the economic drought get swarmed by soldiers looking to spend some of that hard earned cash . Cause more jobs , more money and better economy. What happens when a civilian group leaves town. NOTHING. No business suffers any loss. Just more jobs opening up and employers desperately trying to fill positions. The other difference is we spend our lives protecting the ones we love the most and the ones we don't even know. And alot of civilians show their appreciation and some depise us. Why though, is it cause we get recognized for the hard work we do protecting your asses, or is it cause we went through the training to survive combat and being shot at. Some hate us for what we have done in the past and that is their personal choice. Some love us becaue they couldn't go in the Service and they appreciate the jobs we do to protect their families. Here is an inncident that happened while the 101st was gone. As everyone knows that Baptist group from up north came to Campbell protesting saying their glad that soldiers are dead and God hates the military. If is wasn't for us, they wouldn't be able to protest seeing we protect that right in the constitution. And isn't it in God's commandments that we should not judge one another. Now granted this group was only allowed to protest their message for an hour with out an uproar of a military wife mob beating their asses so the local authorities were there.Here is a bigger picture. While we were gone, there were some unfaithful wives.. saying they couldn't handle just a few weeks of their husbands being gone so they went off fucking other guys.And there are some of those , what we call ID chasers that were just waiting for us soldiers to return home. Now I've met quite a few of those little whores myself. Not caring that I'm married , just concerned with my rank and pay in the Army. Noticing that all they wanted was my money and the benefits I busted my ass to earn. Sorry but I went through a rough process to earn those benefits and I'm not going to just give them away to some random chick who is just money hungry. And most of them are still in their teens if not younger twenties. Then you have those who are military impersonators, don't these dumbasses know it's turning into a federal crime to impersonate a military person now. Just to get pussy and a quick blow job, is it really worth it ? Putting on a uniform you didn't earn the right to wear and saying your something your not. For example, there is a young soldier in Oakgrove who was nailed on a Ranger website for being a poser. Also have a Ranger tab tattoed on his arm . This young soldier is also a PFC in the Nasty guard. Yes I talk shit about the Guard and Reserves because I've spent time in that world. Now for me personally, I haven't seen any of these military posers but I know how to spot one. Another thing that annoys the shit out of me is those civilians that get off work around the same time as the military and wanna bullshit on their phones to their girlfriends about some hot guy they saw come in or what they are going to do on the coming weekend. Well here is something for ya.. those of us who spend more time on post then at the house with our loved ones, We have a something to say. Get off the fucking cell phone and drive you stupid bitch. It's against the law to drive and yap. So save the yapping for when you get your sorry ass home . Some of us want to get home before the evening news comes on.Oh and your driving sucks ass. My grandmother is damn near in her 80's and drives faster then some of you useless pukes. Where the fuck did you learn how to drive anyways, K-mart with the shopping cart? I mean shit. I've been cut off here more then where I grew up . At least the snowbirds in Florida know how to put the foot to the floor when needed. And wearing your shirts that say cutie and hottie and princess, most of you are some of the ugliest bitches I've seen in a long time. And your only a princess in your mind. No one else here gives two shits about, or where you come from. Oh and you snobby little sluts. Stop acting so high and mighty. Just because daddy and mommy paid your entire way through college and you got by just sucking dick and getting fucked doesn't mean your intelligent. You could be the dumbest shit bag walking this earth with a 4 yr degree. How about doing something usefull and stay the fuck out of our way. Coming from the bar at 4 AM when us military have to go do PT and have to work have somewhere to be . You don't . So take your sorry asses home around midnight and sleep it off and clear the way when we come through. We have important jobs and shit to do during the daylight and you only make our lives worse taking your sweet ass time trying to figure out what you want in the drive through at Mc'Donalds.Here is another thought, the so called local "gangs" your not as tough as you think you are. You carry a gun to put fear into people and too scare them. We just literally beat the shit out of you. You don't own any part of this town WE DO. We bust our asses daily. We are up longer and work harder then most do their entire lives. And we spend most of our careers being away from our family. SOO put that in your pipe and smoke it."
