2020 I didn't think I would make it this far

still alone, still wishing on that star

the dreams I had, there now in the past

the life I dreamed of ended too fast

at 65 the light now grows dimmer

the smile on my face now dosent shimmer

I sleep at night with just empty dreams

I wake in the morn, with no life it seems

I go through the motions, I get out of bed

I go make my coffee, and it hurts in my head

why do I do this, and beat myself up

because I still love you........
