When The Time Comes

You were there to hold my hand,
As I went off to school for the first time,
And you were there to pick me up
When I skinned my knees.

You taught me how to love,
And you taught me right from wrong,
As I grew up, you grew older,
And I knew what I would do,
When the time comes.

I held your hand as you tried to sleep,
And I picked you up
When you needed me,
As you did when I was young.

I should you that love,
That you taught so well,
And I cried so hard
When the time came
For you to move on.

I see the memories as if a film,
And I feel the pain,
So I know it's real,
But tomorrow, it will dull.
And when the time comes,
I will do the things we used to do together.

Not tomorrow or the next day,
But when the times comes.

How many of you believe in online love? Do you think if could be love? Lust? or just a fantasy? Or possibly a combination of all three? I believe in all three, but I am so afraid of the first one...Love. To love someone is not hard for me to do. I love many people in so many different ways, but to fall or be "in" love with someone is very hard for me. I guess the reason for this is because I have been hurt by EVERYONE that I have fallen in love with. So to give my all my everything to someone again just to have myself be hurt again is hard to do. The trust issue is just not there. Now lust is a whole different story. I have lusted after a few people. It was very nice too. They were so nice and it was so much fun, but then it got out of hand. They knew where my feelings stood but they wanted more. Yes they spoke the three little words to me...I love you. I couldn't handle it at that moment. So the fun had to stop. Now fantasy...I love fantasy because you can do anything with this. To me fantasy is nothing more than two people who are "attracted" (yes both parties have to have the same feelings) to one another and have one amazing mind fuck. Yes cyber sex. It helps cleanse the mind among other things...LOL! So tell me your thoughts on the issue at hand.

Friday, November 2, 2007 The best day you have ever known Instead of waiting and looking back on your life and realizing how great it was, realize how great it is while you're living it. These are the good old days. This is the time to treasure right now. Don't put off your appreciation for today until some time when all you have of it is a faded memory and a photograph. You are swimming in a thick sea of overwhelming richness that is this moment. Wake up to how truly blessed you are to be right where you happen to be. Sure there are frustrations and annoyances, challenges, pains and disappointments. And you have the good fortune of being in a position to transcend every one of them. Stop wondering what life is all about and start choosing what you are going to make it become. Stop waiting for someone else to make it all better and start taking your own steps to make it uniquely great. This can be the best day you have ever known. When you focus on gratitude, you'll bring many more things into your life for which to be thankful. Focus on anger, and you'll continue finding additional reasons to be angry. Focus on love, and the opportunities for experiencing love will greatly multiply. Focus on life's best possibilities, and you'll move steadily in the direction of your dreams. Focus on the things you truly value, and they grow even more valuable. Focus on what you are able to give, and you'll greatly expand what you are able to have. Focus your energy, your attention, your interest and your passion on some particular thing, and you can make the impossible happen. Where is your focus most consistently directed? That is where your life is most certainly headed. By choosing your focus, you choose your lifestyle, the world around you, and your future.
