I sit in the crowd,
Yet I am so alone,
I get no understanding,
I’m chilled to the bone.
They try to make me laugh,
But all I do is cry,
I have no feeling left,
Alone, I want to die.
You promised me always,
You’d be there for me,
Yet now I am lost,
No one can find me.
Your picture I see,
Always on m mind,
I can’t let you go,
I love you still, I find.
No matter where you’ve gone,
No matter the reason why,
I’ll be waiting for you,
With tears in my eye.
The candle in the window
Burns bright for you,
Night after lonely night,
I’m staying forever true.
No one can replace you,
Or fill my empty heart,

You took the biggest part.
I know you love me, too,

But I miss you more,

I ask the Lord above,
Each night when I pray,
For you to come back,
