Come And Go
You Come and go like the light in my life
Blink you are here and I am so full of your light its so blinding then blink your gone and I am in the cold dark night alone and scared
Your not here for me to reach out and hold
Your not here for me to whisper to you of my fears
Your not here to wipe away my tears
Someone else has that right to you
As well as it should be
It was sealed a long time ago
But even that fact I refuse sometimes to see When my own selfish needs come to the surface and I want you with all that I am, And when my time with you gets interrupted I feel the impact of the situation full force
It makes me take a second and realize what I am doing not just to myself but to the others
and I feel ashamed, but also oh so scared, scared that I am losing you!, Losing my light, my warmth.
So Now my light , Come and go with the time in between the two worlds you have, I don't want the choice ....It is yours to make do you Come or go?
