Hi I am Lillianna Marie! I was born on December 29, 2007. I came too early in fact I was 11 weeks early! I have had a time in here but all the nurses and Doctors and other staff are so nice to me.
I weighed 2 lbs 12 oz when I arrived. I have had to be on a ventelator for a little while. Started eating through a tube inserted into my stomach and until recently my only problem was a third degree bleed on my brain. But there has been no swelling. I have had many episodes of breathing and heart rates dropping. Usually I bring my self back. Then on 1/15 I needed a blood transfusion, mommy was scared and agreed , she sat beside me for as long as she could till she had to go get my brother and sisters.(I can't wait to see them!) All seemed to go fine the nurses removed my pick line and I was doing good. Then that night my tummy swelled I started having more spells. The Dr. gave me an iv with antibiotics in it and did a x-ray of my belly. They did a full blood work and a catheter for a clean specimen. So far they are negative. On Wednesday when mommy came my belly was down and I was comfy again. Still having alot of spells. Mommy was allowed to kangaroo hold me and that was a great feeling for both of us. I snuggled right into mommy and fell asleep. I was so peaceful and warm. I hated being put back into that bed but I know mommy will hold me again as son as she is allowed! Last night I was still having sells and the Dr. decided to put me back on the cpap to help me breath. So far this morning I am stable , but things change s fast in here. The Dr. has not been able to find any swelling on my brain which is good and keeps saying all this is normal. I keep opening my eyes and staying alert. Mommy says I have the most beautiful eyes in the world! Mommy said she will update this page often and still asks you all for your prayers. This is really hard on her too and my daddy. I think it is hard on all of my family. So until next time.
