Merry christmas, my Darling,
This is my special gift to you.
May the spirit of this joyous season
Be with you all year through.
When you wake on Christmas morning
And I'm not there to see,
May you find the gift of happiness,
Beneath your Christmas tree.
When you look outside your window,
I just want you to know,
That I'm always right beside you,
Like those angels in the snow.
I'll light a special candle,
To honor the bond we share,
And know in your heart that I love you,
Even though I can't be there.
