I am a strong believer in my faith but after my mom died i was so full of guilt. For months I thought because the doctors wanted to put her on morphine to take her out of her pain and to slowly shut down her organs that We her family killed her. Who were we to play God in these moments. So it took about 2 years for me to finally come to realize that we made the right decisions and my guilt has subsided. When I was in my devastation I searched the internet to find a medium to help contact my mom. After countless hours and some research i found one. I called her because I got a good feeling about her when i read her profile and for the fact that she had studied to be a Catholic nun for 5 years and right before she took her vows decided that God was leading her in a different direction. They were so wonderful to my brother and Val. The funeral costs would have been around $4800.00. They told my brother and Val, when they went to pay, that there is no charge. They never charge for children! That's proof that there are still some really good people in this world. They know it's hard enough to bury a child without having to worry about the costs. Well.. its rare that i write blogs, or even say anything, but now, for some reason, i feel like letting things out. I can understand im not always a fun person to talk too, yes i can be very boring sometimes but it is not a reason to completly ignore me. People i though where my friends...well it seem that i was mistaken. I find it very interesting. Someone thought I was being taken away by a guy that was going to push everyone out of my life. I find this humerous because he talked to all my friends. Started to enjoy their company just as much as he did mine. Well anyway because I love and care for the person who was worried about it I completely wrote this guy out of my life. I have been kind of worried about him though. He drinks way too much and many times does some really stupid things that most people don't know about. He is better at hiding it than I am. The former Broomfield High School student was one of about 100 former and current students, faculty members and area residents who watched this morning as a demolition crew tore down the north wing of the high school. DePinto even got in the act. Before the crew started its work just after 9 a.m., he joined a handful of teachers and their families as they threw rocks through the windows of the abandoned classrooms. He joked that it was a way of settling old scores. "I was tingling. That was a refreshing feeling given how much trouble I was in when I was here. It feels like a little payback," he said as he recorded the demolition on video. "

The Joys Of Home Repair
For those of you that don't know what's been going on, I had to have my house re-wired electrically. The house was built in 1940 and I think most of the wiring was original to the house, it was on 100amp service with no ground wires. It's been converted to 200amp service with grounds...It started yesterday morning about 915am and they quit about 7pm last night, but in the process...was unable to rehook my fridge/freezer to electicity (major bummer) Lost a half gallon of Blue Bell chocolate ice cream (the best) and of course the Klondike Bars...and other assorted perishables. That was thanks to Entergy, the power company here, that wouldn't do an emergency for the one outlet, they refused, said they need 3 days notice to grant it. That's BULL!!! They came back this morning at 9am to finish, they finally finished at almost 4pm...I'm so glad it's done and over with. Now if I only had Bob Vila...lol

Death Of My Grandfather
My grandfather passed away tonight at 11:45pm georgia time. he has been sick for quite sometime now. Mama has been in Kentucky for a week and a half with him in the hospital. she came home tonight after he was relesed then he couldnt breath and went back and when mama got home at 10:30 she got a phone call saying he had to be put on a machine to breath. they put the ventalator in and he died. so shes going back tomarrow in the morning, He didnt want her to leave and now she feels bad. She thinks its her fault. She feels like if she stayed he wouldnt have died or at least she could have been there when he did. I need a dream reader to tell me what my dream meant. I have had some strange dreams in my life..but this one was a horrifying dream. I dreamed that I was in my garden digging up my carrots..and as I looked down in the hole I was digging.. i seen a eyeball. Stress Xs2
So I need to vent a lil bit otherwise my head may explode!! First off I work at a daycare which is stressful enuf within itself. I work with ten 3 year olds right now which actually isn't all that bad but when u add a couple factors.... 1st being on of the children is special needs, we believe he has autism, or I should say he shows a lot of signs in that area he hasn't actually been evaluated or diagnosed yet but from all the expierence at the daycare within the teachers thats the conclusion we have come too. The thing is the child doesn't turn 3 until Sept and hes far from potty trained, he doesn't speak at all, and he weighs about 55lbs so hes extremely hard to handle especially when he goes limp and makes u drag him around. He throws his plate on the floor, dumps his cup out, constantley takes his shoes off, which i may add is again HRS's policy!! During naptime he wakes up an hour b4 the other kids and starts screaming and crying very loudly so i have to take him in the room next

Alone At Last?
So the last little birdie flew the coop on the 18th of July. She graduated from high school and is off to be an MP in the Army. Dave and I haven't been alone with no kids since never. We had a 1 year old when we got married and have had kids in the house for the last 23 years. It is kinda strange being just the 2 of us. It's very cool but we have never had to not deal with kids. It's just us....will we get bored with each other, will we be able to fill the hours with just the two of us? My mother has always told me..."It's not what you think it will be...it's lonely without kids, you will miss them and be bored". She called me first thing this morning to see how I was holding up! It's only been 2 days! lol I think we will be just fine. We have waited for this days since the kids were little...I can't wait to see what life brings us now!

Boy what a long week this has been!! I can say that I did make it threw the week all together! There was good times, bad times, tears, fears, hurt, lack of sleep but I made it threw the week! My New Home
I can honestly say I feel empty inside. I have never thought I would have to walk away from my father and say goodbye forever at such a young age. It was a unexpected thing. I had so many unanswered questions. Things are very hard on me at this point. I want to thank you all for being so supportive of me, and sorry I am not myself this is just hard for me to handle. I am not myself at this point. No female wants to lose their dad its the hardest thing in the world to deal with no matter who you are. I haven't been able to sleep, eat, and at times I feel as if I cant breathe. I wouldn't wish this pain on my worst enemy. What I Do At Work.
If anyone has been wondering why I haven't been around lately it's because every piece of equipment that could possibly break down at work HAS broken down. We have been struggling to get a newspaper out on a nightly basis. Also, the work curse has followed me home, my computer is down for awhile. Hopefully by Mon. Aug. 4th everything will be back to normal. Meantime, I'll use whatever computer I can to try to keep current here as best as I can. Oh Damn!
Ok,so i brought this fish home from my friends house last night. It had been living in it's own happy little world for about 3 weeks in a beta tank(beta died)or maybe it was longer.Anyway,I bring the poor thing in the house with me and dump his happy ass in the tank.Here is where is all goes so wrong. 1. I didn't really think about it's size compared to my Oscars.2.I turned the light on when I dumped him in the tank.next thing I know that poor fish is in the smaller of the two Oscars mouth. I am thinking to myself at this point "holy shit! what am I going to do?" She spit him out. I am thinking "ok,this i a good thing,she didn't like the taste of him". So, I took him to the ER and he was diagnosed with a sacral strain...nothing neurological or very serious, but the pain is real. So, he has to take advil and do specific stretching exercises for the next 5 days and if it doesn't improve, go to the family Dr. for a re-evalutaion. As many of you know, he is an avid baseball player and in sports terms he is "day to day". So again, thank you so much for the genuine concern shown by so many of you.
