Men And More Men
Am I the only person having a problem with this whole dating thing??? I have had so many coffee dates, dinner dates, brunch, out on boats. Met short men, tall men, skinny, fat men. men with hair, no hair, men retired, still working and The Bad One, married men (didn't know they where married). And I can't click with one, am I being to picky? Is there really a man who can take my breath away with just a kiss or a look? Someone who I can't wait to ______? Was dating this hard when I was younger or have my expectations changed. As you get older do we see men in a different light, have we come to a point in our life that we really don't need them? I really do miss the companionship of a partner. The cuddling , caressing and just the communication and laughter. But lets not forget that men are just a small part of our life, there is so much more out there, just need to grab it and run.

Well I was supposed to have my final court date today (sort of). But the judge was sick so now we had to reschedule AGAIN!!! This is just dragging now. I just want it to be done and over with so I can close that chapter of my life and start with the next. She'll always be a part of my life, but what's done is done. Being mortal were given a finite amount of time on this rock and we have to make the best of it. I just want to make the best of my time. any time spent looking back on this will ENSURE that anything worthwhile will not be noticed until it has passed you by. Ok So Now What?
Ok so I just got home from my female dr. The news isnt good. I told him of the severe pains Ive been having still. You all know I have severe endometrosios. Ive had it for 11 yrs with 7 laps done in that time. Well today when I went in I explained the pain and that the pain pills are not helping the pain at all. I have two choices. The first is a shot that stops the flow of estrogen in the system. You can only do that for one year. (and i would still be able to have children later) And he said it very expensive. (so much so that they dont carry it in the office) I dont see my insurance approving that. Or I can get a hystromacaty. That isnt something I want because I would someday like to have another child. Or my last option of course is live with the pain and in the end the possible side effects of the endo. Im scared. I dont know what to do. I feel like my life has hit hell rock bottom fucking hell. Hi Everyone, It's nice to finally have some time to come in and look around. I just finished the course work in my PhD program, so now all I have are 3 comps, 3 colloquiums and it's dissertation time. Anyway, I hope to meet some friends here. Update On My Dr Appt
For those of you that care, although I dont think there are many...lol. I went to the Dr today. I have to have gall bladder surgery, yep they are taken it out, but before they can do it I have to have an EKG and a stress test done. I have to have Cardiac Clearance before they can proceed. Yes Im a little nervous, its cause of a combination of things...first im overweight, my blood pressure goes up and down plus I have chest pains every once in a while. The Dr says he would rather me go see this other Dr and get it cleared thru him first just to be safe. If I pass the test then they will schedule the surgery if not then I guess they will do something. Anyway thats an update for now.

This is a unique way to make lasagna! The whole thing cooks in one skillet, which makes for easy clean up! Ingredients 1 lb. ground beef 1 envelope dry spaghetti sauce mix 1 lb. cream style cottage cheese 3 C. medium noodles (uncooked) 1 tsp. salt 1 16 oz. can tomatoes 1 C. water 1 8 oz. pkg. shredded Mozzarella cheese Directions Lightly brown ground beef in skillet. Sprinkle half the spaghetti sauce mix over meat. Spread cottage cheese in layers over meat and arrange uncooked noodles for next layer. Sprinkle with remaining spaghetti sauce mix and salt. Add tomatoes with liquid and water, being sure all is moistened. Cover with tight fitting lid and continue cooking slowly for 30-35 minutes. Here I sit, in the shadows of the evening sun. They Were Wrong!
I am only 8 weeks.. The first calculation they did WAS WRONG!! by 2 weeks. Oh well. I can basically pick what day I want the child born on lmao.. News...
So it is Big update time. Wow it has been two weeks since my last update... I had my CAT Scan done Friday. The Dr.'s Office called to let me know the results. In comparison to my scans back in May, they found that the lesions that were in my Liver are now Gone. From Numerous Q&A sessions with my Doc, Just so that I understood, we wanted the lesions to still be there to confirm that it was something other than cancer. If they were found to be gone, then it would confirm Cancer putting me at a verified Stage 4 Colon Cancer. Now the Bright Side, It's GONE!!! The Chemo is working no other tumors or suspicious area were found in the SCANS!!! So even at stage 4, I am getting better and better!! YEAH!!! Thank You GOD!!!! My Doctor is requesting a copy of all my scans to send to a specialist at Baptist Hospital for a second opinion and to have absolutely no doubt it is what they saw, and that will be another week, so I will update then. An Old Check And Fond Memories
We were cleaning out the garage most of the day yesterday. Well.....I supervised! I said what to throw away and what not to. Although, Peter never throws anything away! I say get rid of it all. We were going through this box that had stuff in it from a cedar chest we used to have. When we got rid of it, I shoved everything in a box. Yesterday, I took my nieces and nephew to their track and football games. I was the head cheerleader for them. So for the last few days I've been at my parents house with all my aunts from out of town. We have all come together to await the news of my uncle's condition at the hospital. Apparently he has cancer through out his entire body, and the surgery he is going to get will more then likely kill him. Well, I made it in country. It's a little warm, kind of like Oklahoma in July/August, but with less humidity. It's not bad actually. The food is good. I was an idiot and believed the packing list I read online, didn't bring any uniforms. This Weekends 4 Wheeler Races
As many of you know we had a 4 wheeler Rodeo in town this past Sat night. Yes it is like a horse rodeo:barrels and stuff. I went because I enjoy going but more over my husband and his friend Neil was going to race. The kids started the race at about 7 pm with the barrel racing once they got finished they switched the kids over to the pole racing. It was around 9 or 9:30 pm before my hubby and his friend finally got to race. By this time I was freezing. I had on a t shirt under a jersey which was under a jacket covered by a blanket. Cold mind you only cause I am used to 103 degree weather. I called time and temp and it was still 52 degrees. Around 10 or a little after we finally left the races. Mind you we were all hungry so instead of going home for the night me,my hubby, my aunt and uncle head out to Huddle House which is at least 30 minutes away. Life Throws Horrible Curve Balls
Life this past weekend has been pretty rough. Connor, my youngest nephew is in the hospital. He couldn't keep anything down and he had not eaten for three days so we took him to Cooks on Friday. They did a whole battery of tests to figure out what was wrong with him. One of the tests was a spinal tap to check for menengites (sp) well they didn't follow procedure and they may have done nerve damage. He cannot stand or walk. He has feeling in his feet though. Ending Starvation Diets
recently as I was at the Y to teach a healthy living class, one of the new attendees got my attention. I teach balanced nutrition, exercise, meditation/yoga and spirituality weekly. The people I usually work with in this class have some health issues usually associated with injuries that prevent regular exercise activity or people whose eating and activity are out of balance. Today though, I had a frantic woman asking so many questions that it triggered my counselling reflex and I asked her to meet with myself and the female trainer. Now, here was a woman in tears, sobbing uncontrolably, waving sheets of paper around and explaining she had to lose ten more pounds today or her boyfriend was going to dump her. As she calmed down, she explained her boyfriend only dated people who had 5% or less body fat and he had given her two weeks to get to that point. and she was about to fail him. I now have only one address, one set of keys. I think that means I'm officially moved in. I love love love this new place. Three loves = True love. Coming To Rochester, Ny
September has been great so far. I worked the first week, which was a short week with the Labor Day holiday. I was off last week for vacation which I basically stayed at home and worked on the house. This week is a full week which will be catch up work and then getting ready to go to New York for training for work. So in all reality I will have only worked for half the month of September! Feels good! Me and another coworker will be going to training. I don't know all the details but I do know that we will be there for a week, will be provided with a rental car to get up there and will each have our own room with a king sized bed! The whole thing should be real fun. We are getting trained on new software which I have had a little bit of training on already.
