Is it just me or does a disproportionate amount of roadkill these days happen to be skunks? I must have passed 7 or 8 of them today. Pungent, stinking messes that make you nose burn as you drive by. So I started wondering why skunks make up such a high percentage of roadkill and what I came up with is this: They are suicidal. It has finally come to the point where even the skunks can no longer stand their own stench, and in fits of misery and dispair they are hurtling themselves into traffic in unprecedented numbers. Just Stuff
Okay, I'm driving to work and I always have to slow down because people like to pull out in front of me like I wasn't there. Then at work, I'm working on something and I get called up front and the two other carryouts are just standing around doing nothing. I'm working on something in the frozen food department and I get called when they could just ask one of the other carryouts who aren't doing anything to do the order. It doesn't make sense. It's like I'm the one getting picked on for no reason. I'm the one doing all the work while they let the other two just stand there and talk and talk and talk. Need Advice
There is this guy in my building that I am really interested in. I do not know for sure if he is interested in me or not. I do know when he is drinking he can not seem to keep his hands off of me. He does come around a lot when he isn't drink. He always says that he does not want a girlfriend. The other day I asked him out and he told me he would think about it. He still says he does not want a girlfriend. He always says he is bored and I told him if we were dating he would not be as bored. I wish that I could just get him to see it would not be so bad having a girlfriend. I know he has been hurt in the past but so have I. I do not know whether I should just give up on him or keep trying. I need serious help on this one. I am so confused right now.

Dream Addiction
They tell me she is my addiction and I must cure my addiction. How do I cure something that has been part of me for so long. Something that seeps in and infects my dreams nightly. I may accept what has happened by day, but then night comes. As I lay in bed thoughts of her race through my mind. I drift off to sleep thoughts and memories seep into my dreams I dream of the life we shared and the way things use to be. We are still together maybe not always happy but a family nonetheless. Slowly morning comes closer and I start to awaken. I feel the dream slipping away I fight to hold on. Eventually the day wins over and I awaken. The process starts over and I wait to get back to her in my dreams. I sometimes wonder is it her that's my addiction or is it my dreams.

Well to say the LEAST i miss you all so much. My Son Richard
My Son Richard He is 14 years old and I love him with all my heart. I always thought that he had ADHD for a long time maybe 10 years and I just found out that he has Autism poor baby we didn't know and things are changing and I feel sooooooo bad because I thought he was misbehaving because he wanted to :( well there are times he does but there are things he does that is out of hand. I remember when he was a few month old (The time where they can stand up) well he always wanted to watch The Lion King and if it wasn't on he will cry and cry until I turned it out and when it was on he would laugh and cry when mofesta died he cried. My son,27, was hit by a car on saturday monring in Birmingham AL. I will be flying down on Thursday and returning Tuesday the 17th. Please keep him in your prayers. So last night I had taken 10 shots of Goldschloger and put the bottle back in the freezer, I had also took a Soma and a Fioricet. Well I apparently got online here on Fubar and was chatting away and went and got the liquor back out and sat here at the computer and drunk half of it. Surprise! I woke up this morning with the rolly stomach and having to hold on the the walls to make them quit moving. I finally vomited twice, both times that lovely yellow then green bile awful tasting crap. I feel a little better though, thank God. I still have that nasty taste in my mouth, I can't get rid of it.

Each year I am hired to go to Washington, DC , with the eighth grade class from Clinton , WI where I grew up, to videotape their trip. I greatly enjoy visiting our nation's capitol, and each year I take some special memories back with me. This fall's trip was especially memorable. On the last night of our trip, we stopped at the Iwo Jima memorial. This memorial is the largest bronze statue in the world and depicts one of the most famous photographs in history -- that of the six brave soldiers raising the American Flag at the top of a rocky hill on the island of Iwo Jima, Japan, during WW II. Over one hundred students and chaperones piled off the buses and headed towards the memorial. I noticed a solitary figure at the base of the statue, and as I got closer he asked, 'Where are you guys from?' I told him that we were from Wisconsin 'Hey, I'm a cheese head, too! Growing Old
Old Age, I decided, is a gift I am now, probably for the first time in my life, the person I have always wanted to be. Oh, not my body! I sometime despair over my body, the wrinkles, the baggy eyes, and the sagging butt. And often I am taken aback by that old person that lives in my mirror (who looks like my mother/father!), but I don't agonize over those things for long. I would never trade my amazing friends, my wonderful life, my loving family for less gray hair or a flatter belly. As I've aged, I've become more kind to myself, and less critical of myself. I've become my own friend. I don't chide myself for eating that extra cookie, or for not making my bed, or for buying that silly cement gecko that I didn't need, but looks so avante garde on my patio. I am entitled to a treat, to be messy, to be extravagant. I have seen too many dear friends leave this world too soon; before they understood the great freedom that comes with aging.

well tommorow marks the one year anniversary of the hardest day of my life. I still think about him pretty much everyday, the closer it comes the sadder i get. Don't know whether you heard about this but Denzel Washington and his family visited the troops at Brook Army Medical Center, in San Antonio , Texas (BAMC) the other day. This is where soldiers who have been evacuated from Germany come to be hospitalized in the United States, especially burn victims. There are some buildings there called Fisher Houses. The Fisher House is a Hotel where soldiers' families can stay, for little or no charge, while their soldier is staying in the Hospital. BAMC has quite a few of these houses on base, but as you can imagine, they are almost filled most of the time. While Denzel Washington was visiting BAMC, they gave him a tour of one of the Fisher Houses. He asked how much one of them would cost to build. God I Miss Him So Much!

June 8 Update
My mom had a really ruff night last night, as some of you know my granny has some health issues so my mom is really worried about her, although my granny has moved in the room at the hospital with my mom. I had my first ROTC training exercise this last weekend. We spent the whole weekend doing land navigation. Me and my partner had to find eight points in the day time and we had five hours to do so. We found seven out of eight but got one of them wrong. We came back with seven min to spair!! Then after dinner I got in a new group and we did night navigation. I got stuck with an idiot that wouldnt listen to anything i said so we only found three of our five points. One of which was wrong. We got to sleep at eleven thirty and i had to wake up at four for half hour fireguard. The next day we did training exercises to give the third years a chance to run a squad through an exercise. It was a blast and i cant wait till we have the next one!
