In a skillet, cook carrots, parsnips and onions in 2 tablespoons of butter, sprinkling with sugar to caramelize slightly; remove from skillet and set aside. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees. Am I the only one who thinks that a lot of the problems we are seeing in our daily news, is a direct result of liberals taking over our sense of judgment over the last 20 years ?? I don't remember hearing about an epidemic of obease children, taking guns to schools, or overly sensitive people that blame "rage" for their lack of control. Not every child needs to be rewarded every day. A "Honor Roll" on the wall dosen't need to include every child in the rooms picture on it. If there is no chalenge to acheive then whats the point ?? Parents, take notice !! Notice what your childern are watching, reading and who they are talking to. Turn off the TV and computers and go outside !! Well i spent that night going backwards and forwards to see carenza.And in the moring it had been noted that i couldnt cope with being on that ward,and so a room for me was found near the neonatal unit(so much better).Well carenza made it through the next day,iwas shown how to do her cares and how to handle her so tiny at 1 pound and a fourteen ounces.She still had problems with her breathing and the nurses every now and then would have to bag her.The following day we had a meeting with her doctor who broke the awful news thatthere was a bleed in her head and that there was little that could be done except watch and wait.This was my worst night mare and it had come true.Well we sat there shell shocked and said well you told us she wouldnt cry but she did so she will beat this to.How i or garry got through the rest off that day i dont know.I was trying to keep a jornal but couldnt even write carenza's name down.But you know what we did get through that day and so did carenza.That night

History August september and october 2003 Nirvana Rock-Cafe had a series of concerts which were very successful. My Precious Mom
Well I am sitting here feeling sort of lonely. As I have stated in my "About Me" section... I take care of my disabled Mom. She was a victim of a Stroke last January, and 3 Heart Attacks since then. Going through this left her in a wheel chair, and extensive therapy! She is just starting to take steps... have more moblity when something dreadful happened ! Again yesterday morning she woke up screaming, rushing I gave her her medicine that is needed to reverse her symptoms.. called 911 and she was Life Squaded to the hospital again... with Stroke Like Symptoms! She has had several testing since yesterday, 2 CT scans. Lots and lots and lots of Lab work. EKGS, CHEST XRAYS.. They even ordered a stress test ( which we as a family refused ) .. and several more things above and beyond all that ! They have yet to determine all her problems, and or if it has effected any of her movement. She's the sweetest lady and does NOT deserve to go through anymore ! I ask that anyone wh

Ingredients: 1 cup vegetable broth 1 medium carrot, cut into thin strips 2 celery ribs, cut into thin strips 1 small zucchini, cut into thin strips 1 small yellow squash, cut into thin strips 1 small red pepper, cut into thin strips 5 roasted garlic cloves, skins removed and mashed 2 Tbsp chopped basil (or 2 tsp dried) 1 Tbsp chopped parsley Salt and pepper to taste 4 sheets frozen phyllo dough, thawed 3 Tbsp reduced-fat margarine, melted Instructions: Preheat oven to 400ºF. Spray baking sheet with vegetable spray. In large saucepan, bring vegetable broth to a boil. Add carrot, celery, zucchini, and yellow squash. Cook 3 minutes; drain. I was working at a pizza-delivery chain and had been assigned garbage duty. While tossing bags into a Dumpster, I heard a faint meow. I began digging through the trash, and several layers down I found a cat--bruised and thin. These past two years have been hard on me and my family. It feels like god is trying to put us threw a series of challenges that almost seem unbearable. I used to be an amateur drink master, coming up with "official" drinks for varying events. I'm going to be posting some of the best here over time, so people can try them out. Today's Drink was called "Purple Jesus". It received it's name from the color, and the result. :) First, in a LARGE container *By large, I mean like those 5 gallon drink dispensers - Do NOT use Metal!) add equal parts of: White rum Vodka Gin White Tequila Everclear Purple Grape Juice. (Not punch, actual juice) To this mixture, add @ 40 oz of Maraschino Cherries, juice and all. Taste the mixture, and then add and mix in Sugar until mixture is sweet. *The next step is critical!* Allow mixture to sit 3 days covered in a dark, cool place. This will allow the Sugars to produce more alcohol, increasing the Proof. it also allows the Cherries at the bottom to soak up as much alcohol as possible. After the 3 days, serve chilled. Ingredients: * RUSTIC SPICE SEASONING(recipe below) * 1 mango, firm * 1 fresh peach, firm * 1 tablespoon butter * 1 tablespoon olive oil * 1/2 cup pineapple, diced * 1/2 cup red onion, caramelized * 1/8 teaspoon curry powder * 1/8 teaspoon ground ginger * 1/4 teaspoon rustic spice seasoning * 1/4 cup HERSHEY'S MINI CHIPS Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips * 12 (6 oz. each) salmon filets Directions: 1. Heat oven to 400°F (convection oven: 350°F). Prepare RUSTIC SPICE SEASONING; set aside. 2. Peel, halve and seed mango and peach; cut into 1/2-inch cubes; set aside. 3. Combine butter and olive oil in large saucepan over medium heat until butter is melted. Add mango, peach and pineapple; sauté until fork-tender. Stir in caramelized onions. 4.
