I waved goodbye to the friends i'd made
Though I didn't think it possible
To make them
I come weeks ago
They've been here for months
Or so it seems
And as I leave before them
I wonder,
Why?
Was I more behaved than them?
Didn't seem like it
Was I more adjusted to life?
I didn't think so
Naw, I wonder
Why were they really here?
What were their problems
They were "working out"?
Their mountains to climb?
Have they all left by now?
I can only hope that
They live wonderful lives now
As I sit and remember
