Grandpas Truck
On Monday I find out my dad intends to trade my grandpas truck to buy Megan her truck. Now for those of you who know, I drove grandpas truck for many years (blue 91 gmc) and then couple months ago the wiring in the steering column shorted out and he was unable to fix it himself. Fubar Relapse
So I stopped using this site for a good while, but now that I am only working one job instead of 2, I've gotten back into the habit of this site. Not sure if this is a good thing or not. Either way, I need to find myself another "real" job by the fall. I just figured I'd spend the summer working my part-time job (now working it full-time) since I got laid off. The past year of working 70 hours a week was exhausting, but I'm really starting to miss the money. Good thing I got all these Fu-bucks ;p

Why is he asking poeple on here what he sould do? I am not using him. No one understands what is going on with us. Yes i do admit that i sat at home not doing anything, but he told me i did not have to go to work. then when we told me that the rent was going up i went out and go a job, and about me missing work for a week you have to understand what was going on with me. since that happend i have been to work everyday and i will not miss a day unless i am told to stay home. i just wish he would talk to me about it and not post our problems on here. I have had a couple people tell me that the person that i am with has been using me since February. She has sat around the house until I tell her to get a job or she leaves my life. then after 3 days doesnt go to work for a week. She lives with me. the thing that i would like to know is what I have done with her or what i have said to her is in love or because I am tired of her using me.

Not sure how I'm breathing now. This feeling is really insane. I do not know what this is. Am I the one to blame? For all this shit that never quits. The people are always so ignorant. Need someone to tell me if I am a fool for believing people when they promise to do something but dont? So here I am back from vacation feeling better than I have in a while about certain things. Then again on other issues I’m not feeling so good about. Storm Thoughts & Other Thoughts
Last night the Lehigh Valley in particular Allentown Pa got hit by a series of severe thunderstorms. Approximately 4 inches of rain fell in a 2 hour or less period. Winds of easily 60-70 mph and 1.00 inch hail. Trees were knocked and snapped down and there were 14000 people without power for about 4-6 hours. I posted just one part of a ten part series video of this storm that captured the high points of the storms... I realize that majority of the people here do not care about the weather. However..I consider the people on here as friends that are on my list so that is why I post the information here as well. So in case anything severe etc would head your way you will have a heads up notice.

Sum Things Makin Me Grrr

Flood 2008
As my profile states I live in Cedar Rapids, Iowa. We are currently experiencing an all time record flood. The Cedar River runs right the center of town and divides the East and West ends of town. Flood stage for the river is 18 feet. The highest flood on record was 20 feet in 1929, currently the river is at 20.23 feet and is predicted to crest at 24.5 feet. We are also waiting for thunderstorms tonight and all day tomorrow that are expected to bring an additional 1-3 inches of rain. Week From Hell
It's only Wednesday, and this week already sucks. Work has just been a bitch. Nothing works right, including half of the fucking staff. Point #1: we have what's called verification scales. When we are filling a prescription, we first scan the label of the script we're filling, then scan the barcode on the bottle to verify we have the right drug. There are 2 of these handy little devices for speedy filling...but only one of them works. Point #2: No incoming faxes, which makes for really pissy customers and even pissier doctors. For anyone that personally talks to me this will be old news for u but as for the rest of u im gonna give a quick little update to my life. Back in april i quit my job.. at walmart. I took a month off for my bday and to just not have to stress on anything. I got a new job workin at Hobby Lobby in the frame shop. I totally hated the job. Most the time it was too repeditive and the other part of the time it was just... boring. Not to mention that on freight day it was jsut hot n sweaty moving stuff outta the truck to the floor. My department managers were real bitches the majority of the time (u know the type of women that seem to be on the rag permanently). Granted i guess if i was a virgo then it would be perfect job.. always worrying bout perfection but im just not that nit picky. It recently flooded here in alot of the parts of town. What A Year....
I Think I seriously jinxed myself this year. Earlier this year I stated unmarried and no kids at 23. I need to change some of that. I am still unmarried. Today was my daughters field day at school so I thought I'd play hookie from work and join her for some fun. For all who know Robert (my Hubby) had a heart value replacement this morning and things are going good so far. He went thought the surgery fine and in now in the recuperation stage now. He is in ICU for a few days. Can't wait until he is in a regular room. Doctors say no later that Friday evening he should be in his own room.

I'm Thinking It Was Beer #5...
that pushed me over the edge into "headache-ville"! I don't normally drink beer, although, I do like it, I don't like the fact it makes me have to pee every five minutes! So, putting two and two together I've come to the conclusion that peeing and drinking a diuretic depressant will eventually lead to dehidration resulting in my current condition..."a headache". Well duh! So that's what I get for self medicating my irritated state of mind at that particular time of night which resulted in drunk blogging! I have such the potty mouth when I drunk blog! I make no promises not to do it again, just not today...or tomarrow...or the next day... Going to go get some ibuprophen now... cheers! :)

A New Project...
As if I didn't have enough stuff to fix around here.. I went and bought a 1982 Ford Bronco 4x4 with a 351w V8 in it for a 'huntin buggy' LMAO. I couldn't pass it up. Body is solid, engine runs...not great, but it runs. Needs major interior work. So I paid $300 for it... like I said, I couldn't pass the deal up. So far I've changed the oii, flushed the radiator, and changed the transmission fluid (which I found out had NEVER been changed.. YIKES..) Put in new spark plugs, a new accelerator pump diaphragm in the carburetor, and set the timing with a borrowed timing light. It at least fires up and runs without as much hesitation as when I bought it. I still need to figure out all the vacuum hoses that are missing or disconnected and plugged up, drop the fuel tank and check it for rust (which I should have done BEFORE putting fuel in it..) change the fluids in the transfer case and differentials. Also need to replace ALL the U-Joints and shocks. I hope at that point I will at least

The Yamaha Is Dead...
Wouldn't ya know it. The day I get the title in my hands to my Yamaha Big Bear from the bank, and for for a ride, the engine blew up.... That was a couple of months ago. Lately there have been "mice" at work that come out at night and raid my candy bowl of all the chocolate. One afternoon, I filled the bowl around 2:00 or so, went home, and when I came in the next day, it was practically empty except for a sad little hand-ful of Starburst. So I had to resort to putting it away at night. This last batch however seems to be lasting longer. Since most of my immediate co-workers like dark chocolate, I got a lot of that this time. All The Hard Work I Been Doing For Transplant List
Well I am so disapointed by all the hard work that I have been working on now for a year getting ready to be placed on the National Kidney Transplant List. I have been rung thru the the ringer and back, proded and poked and picked on anyway one could think of. Passing all the medical test and pshyc evaluation, getting my dental done, which hurt like hell, but Im thankfull for the dentist, Dr. Russell Coad, that I now dont fear smiling and it also had to be completed before the acceptance on the list. I knew they would run a drug screen, I wasnt worried about them finding cannibus in me, seeing that I have been open and honest about why I smoke and thats for medical reasons, not to just get high!!! Time Warner Sucks

Living Life Again!
Things are looking up for me. I am finally getting on my feet and not looking back to my past. I have met someone very special to me and he has become a big part of my life as well as to the life of the child that I am pregnant with. By the way things feel during my pregnancy so far. I Haven't Cried Like This In A Long Time
I did it again. I got my hopes up only to have my heart ripped out and stomped on. I met this really cool guy and we've been talking for almost two weeks. We've been talking that long because of my vacation, we couldn't go out until I got back. We were supposed to go out tonight. This movie by the Coen brothers looked soooooooo good when the previews came out, I could not wait to see it. Unfortunately, in my Podunk area, movies like this rarely make the theatre, or don't last, so of course I missed my opportunity. So I rented it as soon as it came out. It delivered. Josh Brolin plays Llewelyn Moss, and retired welder who, when out hunting, discovers a drug deal gone bad out in the desert. There he discovers some vehicles, a bunch of dead drug dealers, a few guns he picks up, a truckfull of heroin, and a satchel full of money. The one thing about a satchel full of money, when it comes up missing, people come looking for it. And they send Anton Chigurh, played by Javier Bardem. Then the intrigue begins. This film is a documentary on one man's quest to have the top score on the old coin op classic Donkey Kong. Not on one machine, but in the world. Why would you want to watch something like this you ask? Because it is absolutely brilliant. I grew up playing Donkey Kong, I know the pain they go thru. I never got to their levels, but I wasn't bad. The game is hard, there is no "pattern". There is a randomness to it that gets most players in the end. But this is a quest of Steve Wiebe. He was laid off, and decided that he was going to be the best, so bought a coin op machine for his house. He also had to help raise his kids, and do family things, and be an everyday type of guy. And he accomplishes it. He breaks the mark of 975000, sends in the video to the governing body, and waits for his accolades. Billy Mitchell is the old owner of the record, and he also is in charge of confirming that the boards haven't been tampered with. Amazingly, his friends find that they might have
