Working
I am working at Gibbs here in the biggest small town in Kentucky. I am running a CNC machine and I wish that one day that machine will quit running. What a time it has been. I have been doing invoices, posting packets; well I have done the latter before but not in freshly pressed and dressed Jiffy bags. Ok, guys don't be afraid of this topic. I'm not going to talk about anything gross. I'm wondering if anybody else is irritated by products that "talk" to us. Tornado Warnings!!!!!
All of the last two days, I have been glued like flies on flypaper to thunderstorm and tornado coverage nationally...and locally. First indication there might be trouble in Northern Kentucky came at 3:15pm Tuesday afternoon. I was traveling between home and Office Depot, which is a 15 minute walk from my house. Some Good News....
So I found out today my cousin is doing well after her surgery. Finally some good news. They removed her leg from the knee down and has been to therapy a couple times already and will be fitted with her prosthesis soon. She's doing so well she'll be able to come home possibly tomorrow. I sit here trying to figure everything out. Why things happen the way that shit happens. Why is that everybody else thinks they know how to fix my problems. I have had a status message i really believe that nobody understands me. Some think that they do. I do this, i do that. I don't say this, I don't say that. So what i have learned that if you don't have nothing nice to say you don't say anything at all. When i am unsure of what i need to say i don't say anything. that is me. I have done so much for so many people. Haven't ask for thing in return except for a little respect. Is that to much to ask. For most i guess it is. I do things are a certain way. They may be different than any other way that anybody else does it. But it is my way. i could do something to change it but it is the only way i know. I have been to the pits of sorrow, and misery. It is a big hole to get out of. I just sit here and wonder if anything i could ever do would ever be good enough for anybody.

I am so tired of being taken for granted.. sick of having my heart stomped on when i open it up.. They say when it rains it pours.. well no kidding. Sure I've Gotten Old... I've had 2 Bypass surgeries. A hip replacement, new knees. Fought prostate cancer, and diabetes. I'm half blind, can't hear anything quieter than a jet engine, take 40 different medications that make me dizzy, winded, and subject to blackouts. Have bouts with dementia. Have poor circulation, hardly feel my hands and feet anymore. Can't remember if I'm 85 or 92. Have lost all my friends. But.....Thank God, I still have my Florida driver's license!

OLD people have problems that you haven't even considered yet! An 85-year-old man was requested by his doctor for a sperm count as part of his physical exam. The doctor gave the man a jar and said, 'Take this jar home and bring back a semen sample tomorrow.' The next day the 85-year-old man reappeared at the d octor's office and gave him the jar, which was as clean and empty as on the previous day. So yesterday I am picking up students for Randall Elementary, (I was one the run the day before and was "the mean bus driver" because I make them actually sit down and don't let them hang half way out the window) so I am picking them up and this parent comes over to the bus and very menacingly says, "You yelled at my daughter yesterday, when she was already sitting down. Busy Busy Busy
Business keeps growing. I wish I knew why, but I am so thankful. Last year was terrible. Just wanted to say thanks to all you people that had such kind words, thoughts, & prayers, for my Dad, My Family, & myself! Guess the power of prayer really does work.... My dad has been in the hospital since May 19th. He had toxic poisoning from a medication he was taking. The toxic levels were so high in nearly damn killed him. While they were trying to get his toxicity levels down, he had to endure many many uncomfortable tests. One test showed irregularity to his heart rate and pulse, so after even more testing, they decided he needs to have implanted a pacemaker and difibulator. A wonderful doctor's visit has me on antibiotics for an infection and I made the mistake of going out and mow the back yard in the heat of the day. So today I posted another global MUMM. I find it amusing that it's like no one is literate anymore. I simply asked what is sexier "Curly hair or straight?" Office Nonsense Part 2
Should be titled "Why being Stupid Should Be Painful" I'm not a huge fan of our paralegal. He's not the brightest star in the sky. I know potted plants with higher iqs. Today was case in point. In my firm , I handle, among other things, the billing. Anything that has to do with billing is all me. I take the calls, set up the accounts, shake bishes down, etc. I don't like to have help. Even my attorney refuses to handle the billing, recognizing that I am more effective at this than she is. And having help usually ends up making the situation worse. As it did this morning, because of Paralegal. I have asked numerous times in the past to direct anything billing related to me, no exceptions. If I'm not there, take a message, and I will call them when I come in. If I'm on the phone, they can wait in the lobby until my call is finished. Updates On Me
Just a little note to let u know about me. I quit my job today... My kids will always come before any job. I lost a contest for a 3 month vip that really would have helped me out on here, but such is the way of contests there can only be 1 winner. Thank you if you helped me. I may take a breather for a little while to get my home life back on track... Working midnights will NEVER be the right thing for my family, I need to remember that for my boys. When Will It Be Enough
Ok I know it's wrong to feel sorry for yourself. I understand that tragedy happens to many people everyday...just wish I wouldn't feel so much of it. Today my doctor called me. For months now he has been working with my neurologist to find a med that would calm down what they felt was an "innocent" tremor in my left arm. The surgery for my ulnar nerve seemed to have made my arm angry. Today I was told, "I'm sorry Val, you have Parkinson's syndrome." Not the Disease but certain aspects of it. Now I have had a tremor for years and knew at times it makes my life hell. The first time people see me try to do something with my left hand it causes alot of questions. To know down the road that my right arm will start to shake, as will my head and I already have had a few bouts of mental confusion and inability to focus at times.
