My First 3 Am Blog
I am up at 3 am for a very dumb reason; I have a tooth ache. This is an odd sort of tooth ache, it doesn't hurt at all when I sit up, only when I lay down does it cause me pain. I tried playing a little doctor myself and used some vodka to numb it. That worked alright for twenty minutes or so, but then I had to do it again. After five or six shots, I decided to give up on my home remedy. I am just going to stay awake and try to get into the Dentist first thing in the morning. I am not sure what it could be, I have never had my wisdom teeth out, so it could be something related to that, or just some odd cavity that hurts when I lay down. Anyhow, going on 20 hours now, so if you came here expecting a quality blog, you have my apologies.

Wardrobe Malfunction?
So my friend's 12 year old son loved to come swimming in our pool, BUT, he can't swim. Never learned how, and is not interested in learning now, he's just perfectly happy to put on a floatie and enjoy himself.Well he had developed this theory, that the number of floaties you need is proportional to the depth of water. So when he went in the deep end, he would get all the floaties he could find and squeeze into them. Even though he was 12, he's big; probably 5'8" and 170 pounds.We're all sitting on the deck enjoying some shade and talking, when he walks up. He has 4 floaties around himself, going from his thighs all the way up to his chest. So he comes up, dripping wet, and says "Hey, will one of you go in the deep end and get my swimming trunks?".LOL

Rest In Peace, Chonni And Hollie.
I was deeply saddened to get a phone call today to hear that my friend Chonni and her 11 year old daughter, Hollie, passed away last night. Chonni was 29 year old working mother of 3 with a disabled husband. From what I heard, Chonni had picked Hollie up from a friends house, and on their way home, a freak accident happened, flipping the family's car. Hollie wasn't wearing her seatbelt and died on impact. Chonni watched her eldest daughter die, and succumbed herself in the hospital. Her husband told me he thinks she died of a broken heart, and she passed shortly after he and their two other children arrived at the hospital. My thoughts and prayers are with husband and father, Dale, who is paralyzed from the waist down due to a car accident a few years ago. My Trip

I Lost It.
Today has been one of those days, where you really do think about giving up, especially after really bad news. Today's news has definally changed my life, and I'm not sure that I can bounce back to the way I was because of it. I lost one of my best friends to suicide early this morning. Being that my birthday came around had to renew my dirving license. One man says he saw a skull on the grounds and scattered headstones back in 1997 and reported it to police. Ray Davis says he alerted the cemetery office after he discovered the unearthed human skull. He recalls they acted like it was no big deal. But they promised they would take care of it. Idiots And Motor Vehicles
Snowing here pretty bad... only the second snow of the year. People must have short term memories and forget all the wrecks they got into the year before, because they go driving a million miles an hour down the road in the snow when I'm trying not to skid out at 15 mph. I haven't heard many breaks in the radio traffic for wrecks being slammed out one after the other. Just got back from a 2 vehicle collision which sent one into a ditch. On a ramp. Dummies. Oh well, it's job security. I find a lot of SUVs in wrecks... being up high psychologically gives the people a sense of invincibility and power. They forget that 4 wheel drive doesn't mean "can drive on ice". They also forget that having a truck body without the construction of a car leads to a higher fatality rate due to more energy from the impact being transmitted to the driver. Oh well...

one of my biggest fears ever is the dentist... due to being truamitized by one as a child. So when I became very aware I had to go back I found every reason to delay it. Then the predictible happened and I cracked a tooth right off leaving a gaping hole in my face terrific !!!! It drove me mentally nuts enough to drive me to try find one to work on me right away... I knew I had to get that done and the back of my front tooth where a small filling fell out. I walked into the dental office by my store one I had gone to before for emergency work when I was crawling on the floor with the pain of an impacted tooth . They said the dentist could look at me right away. As I walked in I saw they did Botox and thought well cripes that freaking odd. She tipped me back in chair looked for all of 3 min and promptly informed me I was in big big trouble. Well, as the saying goes it doesn’t take an Einstein? Or does it? I suppose that is the question at hand here. Four months ago I had a horrid infection in my stomach that spread to my upper intestine. Which caused my digestion to get all messed up, oh joy. Not that I like to eat anyway…however my doctor gave me this medicine to help me with digestion. Now that things were back on track infection was gone I didn’t look or feel like death any longer things were looking up. We were fast approaching the dreaded holidays. Normally I love the holidays, however since my leaving my marriage it just hasn’t been the same. But that is another blog possibly. So going to sleep Christmas eve I expected to wake to receive the normal gift on Christmas morning the normal silence I have woken up to the past 4 yrs. Not however this year I woke to a migraine.
