Creating The Peeing Snowman...
It has been years since we had the pleasure of playing with snow. So yesterday, as the flakes came down in sizes that made us gawk in awe, we ran out (dressed in whatever winter gear we could find) and had our first snowball fight in 5 years. (I had snow in places you wouldn't believe, even my undies were soaked.) In 2002 we (my son and I, my daughter was at that time 4 years old) had made our last snowman and had given it the 'wild' theme. While we were walking back to the house, since we were determined to create it in our own backyard, while bickering about the theme of the yet to be created man; my son noticed some 'yellow snow'. That instant he turned to me with a grin on his face and said "we're going to make a peeing snowman". And so we did.. though thanks to the kiddies, who refused to allow me to give the snowman his member, it became genderless. I did however, got to give the snowman a big ole smile of relief. My Best So Far
I hope you all enjoy this just thought I would share another little fantasy of mine so here goes....... It is a friday night. I had decided earlier that I would go out and have a good time dancing at the local nightclub and so I did. I had a great time but never in my wildest dreams would I have imagined what would happen next. Trip To Atlanta
Being up all day Wednesday trying to manage a nap but could not due to the 'sprucing up' that required the handyman to be inside the house for a time. Took all narcotics with us and password protected the computer as they needed to be in this house while we were in Atlanta. Had daughter-in-law house sit while they were in the house. I did not want her or the handman's young sons that were helping him peeking in our stuff soo I password protected the puter! Nephew showed up at about 2:15am, loaded up the scooter and we were on our way to Atlanta. Nephew as normal was all over the road and I had no problems staying awake. Stopped just out of Atlanta and refueled the truck before going through the major headache of Atlanta. Got to the VA hosp around 5 am-central time. Going through Atlanta was horrid! We were hoping the traffic would be light that early in the morning, noooooo! It was just as bad as the 5 pm rush hour. Had to call out nephew's name as he was approaching t

My Future Veterinarian!
Scarlett (my 13 yr old daughter) had to do a job shadow as a class project. So I helped her find the phone numbers to the local veterinarians and she started her search. One of our local vets agreed and she went in today for her job shadowing. She loved it so much that she asked if there were any volunteer spots open. The doctor gave her the opportunity so she has to be at his office for the next 2 Saturdays at 8 am. If she shows up on time then he will give her more hours and he will make her a "technician in training"!! I am so proud of her!!

Fried Cinnamon Strips
Original recipe yield: 20 servings PREP TIME 10 Min COOK TIME 15 Min READY IN 25 Min INGREDIENTS * 1 cup sugar * 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon * 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg * 10 (8 inch) flour tortillas * vegetable oil DIRECTIONS 1. In a large resealable plastic bag, combine sugar, cinnamon and nutmeg; set aside. 2. Cut tortillas into 3-in. x 2-in. strips. Heat 1 in. of oil in a skillet or electric fry pan to 375 degrees F; fry 4-5 strips at a time for 30 seconds on each side or until golden brown. Drain on paper towels. 3. My First Blog

My Cancer
Back in 2003 almost 2004 I was Diagnosed with Intestinal stomach cancer. For the past three – four years I have been though seven surgeries’ they have removed half of my Stomach and things keep getting worst. In the past three months I had been in a comma I have been sicker then a dog and I have been in and out of the Hospital every other day. They had given me five months ago only two months to live I have beat that and I’m here still to this day. But over the weekend I was rushed to the hospital they told me that if they did not do surgery again that I could possible end up in a comma for weeks or months instead of day this time. So within the month I will be going through another painful surgery hoping that this will get better and I won’t look like I’m 200lb anymore that I will look like I did before I caught my cancer when I was 100lb.

Hoping one of those days happen throughout the year where its cold. than it just gets really warm . My Weekend
Andrew turned 9 today! Man i still can't believe that it has been 9 years already, WOW! Also we got our tax refund back on friday, YAY!!!! Ok! I am furious!!!! I have been played a fool at work, and I know now that I can never trust this person again under any circumstances , what so ever. Here it goes.. what would you do in this situation? My baby girl of the big age of six, sufferred a bad case of a stomach virus at school today. Gone To The 9th Ward....

Hey there everyone. I know I have not been around much for the last few weeks. If it wasn't one thing it was another. I have had the worst few days that I can remember and I wanted to send out a warning to all my friends so that noone else has to suffer through what I have. This is a rather long story but please bear with me..it is important info. One of my inside only cats slipped out the door when my daughters friend left my door open. He was gone for about 3 weeks and we had given up hope of his return. On Sat. my husband and son spotted my cat and called to him. He came running and we gratefully brought him home. Other then being very thin he was healthy and seems ok all except for a single tick. I removed the tick and searched for others but since Anubis had very long fur there was some worry we might have missed one. The tick was a spotted deer tick which carries the lyme disease bacteria. Today Maria is remaining stable. When we went into her room, and she heard her mommy and daddy's voices, she actually responded by opening her eyes and squeezing her mommy's finger. They will continue to keep Maria stable tonight, and tomorrow around 7:30am she will have to undergo one more surgical procedure and the surgeons will then close her chest. The procedure should be short, as they will be placing a small hole between both Atrium to allow a place for the blood to mix and distribute oxygen to her lungs. This is the issue that they found Monday night and temporarily corrected with a balloon as Maria was not stable enough to undergo another surgery such as this. The doctors tell me she should be out of surgery within 3 hours and we will be there rooting for Maria all the way. Keep Maria in your thoughts and prayers as she goes through her ordeal tomorrow.

He Did It! Woohoooo!!!! (jumping Up And Down)
As of 12:30pm today, Andrew is now an Exterior Firefighter! He passed his Essentials 3 class!!! Wooohooooo!!!! He is the youngest Junior in our department to reach this level! I am so proud of him!! This picture was taken at his Public Safety class at Tech School. He is the one on the left, demonstrating a leg lock. (Mom has a hard time looking at this picture). Andrew is now elligable to take other classes at the academy, but he won't be able to take his Essentials 4 class until he turns 18. The Essentials 4 class involves a live burn and interior firefighting. OMG I'm still jumping up and down! In other news, there is a suspect in the theft of equipment and vehicle damage I wrote about a while ago. He IS one of the firefighters in one of the classes. Sleepless
well i am going on my 3rd day without sleep. i usually work at night from about 3 in the afternoon till about 3 in the mourning. i started a new job this week too that starts about 7 in the mourning and the past 2 day i have had to go straight from there to my other job. its not hard i take care of kids dureing the day an 8 month old and a 4 year old. at night a 1 year old and a 2 year old they are all sweet kids but once you go so long without sleep and cant smoke around them so i am lucky if i get a break long enough to smoke a cig every 3 or 4 hours so needless to say i have not been in the best of moods and as far as i can see i dont have a day off anytime in the near future i dont know how much longer i am goin to be able to keep this up but both of the jobs are for freinds of mine and i cant say no to anyone much less freinds so i guess i am pretty much screwed i have no idea what i am going to do i am starting to get very impatient with them and thats not fair for the kids and t

My Daughter, My Miracle
My daughter was born June 10th, 1998 weighing in at 8lbs 2oz. She was so beautiful. She was a very happy and healthy little girl for the first 10 months. April 17th 1999 we were sitting at home and she started having a seizure. I was only 19 had no clue what was going on. So scared. She wasn't breathing. She was taken to the local emergency room. They found ot she had aspirated during the seizure (vomited and it went into her lungs). Then they had her life flighted to the nearest childrens hospital. At this hospital they find bleeding in her brain. As a young motr i am sitting there trying to remember if she hit her head hard on something or what, when a Dr. comes to me and her father telling us that she has shaken baby syndrome. Talk about shock. I am the one taking care of her 24/7 and these Drs are look at me like some murderer. They get children services involved and telling me i won't get my daughter and stuff. For a month and a half my baby is laying in a hospital bed and the drs

The Gas Prices.
Gas is already over $3.00 a gallon here, it'll be scary to see just how high it gets whenever the summer hits and when it is over. The gas companies really need to formulate a better plan than simply trying to make as much money as they can off of everyone like the damn parasites they are about it. On the other hand....Clinton got impeached for wanting a blow job, but not from Hilary....could you really blame him?!? Yet Bush has put many soldiers in Iraq, and for what?!? I mean I know why, but there needs to be a better and just cause for all of this suffering that is being poured out into the countries. The thought of trying to establish a stable government in Iraq is pointless anyway, since they have been unstable since the dawn of mankind. I have watched to many beautiful people fall to the pain and horror of evils grasp and I decide to make a stand and claim myself a warrior in the charge of eternal hopes white glow! As I make my lone stand I wonder, will I make this stand alone? Or will I look over my shoulder to find mighty legions of warriors ready to take the fight to darkness door? Either way I will make my stand and if I fall in battle my only hope is that I made at least one difference in somebodies life before my eternal slumber befalls me.
