Living in interesting times..... Current mood: contemplative Yeah, I know… I'm way overdue. Tough. Truth be told, just a lot of things going on over the last two months. I have established new relationships, and cut my losses with others. I have been adapting to the changing conditions of my new job, and its been tough at times. I think I am in a pretty good rhythm right now, and its up to me to roll with the punches and adapt when things get rough. 3/6/2007: Big Time Sigh.. Current mood: angry Well, this day sucked the big kishko... Work was fine, no worries and no problems, but I got an email this morning from one of my girls saying that she wants to talk... Right away, I knew what was about to go down, and I was right. We ended our relationship today, because of the way I live my life and her just not being happy in it. Understandable, and in a few ways I saw it coming. Out of respect to her I won;t go into details of what I saw coming, but as I said to her, the signs were there. And if someone is not happy and wants to leave, who am I to stand in her way? It was similar to how my relationship with my ex-fiancee came to an end. We both want different things, and our relationship was not going to survive if we were on different pages. So, we are going to remain friends, which is quite necessary considering we work at the same place. Then when I get home, I find out that another of my girls has congestive heart failure.

4/12/07: Three years.... Current mood: sad Its hard to believe.. its been three years now since my mother passed away. I feel a little ashamed because I did not remember until I was thinking about my third year anniversary with my job, and those two events will be forever tied together. Three days after I got hired on with my company, I got a call from my aunt saying that after a long battle with cancer, my mother had finally lost her life. That following week was a blur, but I remember a lot of things about it. I don;t really focus too much on that time, even though it was nice to have seen members of my family and the people I grew up, albeit not under good circumstances. Vacation

Changes To Come

Life ( Right Now )
Ok. So I realize my blogs have been kinda negative over the last couple days. The days themselves weren't really tht bad. Although from reading my blogs, one might think my life sux. It really doesn't. I just happen to write about the negative more than the positieve. I write the bad stuff out, to get it out and try to feel better, or something. It sucks when your ear piercings almost close. I had to force the starter set in them just to open them up again. My ears hurt and are swollen. :( At least they aren't as red as they were yesterday. As most of you will know, I despise Justin Hawkins, the ex lead "singer" of The Darkness. 30 Year Old Grandpa.. How You Ask??
I've had a few people ask if I really am going to be a grandpa, and a few who don't believe it. But yes, I am going to be a grandpa come August, and then my second grandkid will be born in September. I got married last August to a wonderful woman who somehow puts up with me. But she'll be 43 this year, and she has a 23 year old son, and a 19 year old daughter. My step-daughter is pregnant, due in August. My stepsons girlfriend is also pregnant, due in September. The funny part, is that we were married August 19th last year, which is also my stepdaughters due date. So if she has my grandson early, within one year, I would have become a husband, step-dad, and grandpa. No, I don't have any kids of my own. No, I'm not going to have any.. my wife has all her plumbing gone, so she can't have any more. So there ya have. In a week, I turn 30, and a month and half later I become a grandpa.

My New Piercing & Tristens Last Day At Nursery School
On June 21, 2007 my mom & me went to get our eyebrows pierced. Nope it didn't hurt when we got it done, but it does hurt when you pull on it or sleep on it its been very fun the last few days. I failed the test :(. I failed every part of the test. I did not do the things I was supposed to do even though i know them. I Am Home
I got home last night from our vacation all the way down to San Diego. We really enjoyed our trip. Spent last weekend in San Jose and went to see the San Jose Sabercats beat Las Vegas 66-26. On Monday my husband took our son to the Anaheim Stadium to watch the Angels come from behind by 5 runs to be Houston Astros 10-9 in the bottom of the 9th inning. Tuesday night we went out to dinner to celebrate my step-father's birthday at the Black Angus in San Bernardino. Wednesday we went to San Diego for the day and had a blast visiting Sea World with my parents. Thursday we drove back to San Jose to spend the night with my husband's mom. Friday we got up and drove to Travis AFB to visit with our oldest son for a few hours. And then... we drove the rest of the day to our home in Oregon to finally get back home just before midnight... Today... back to work :( We had a great week off but now it back to the grind and I am just about to leave to do a 12 hour shift

The carpenter I hired to help me restore an old farmhouse had just finished a rough day on the job. A flat tire made him lose an hour of work. His electric saw quit, and now his ancient pickup truck refused to start. While I drove him home, he sat in stony silence. On arriving, he invited me in to meet his family. Well the roller coaster continues. After Billy (My 15 year old nephew) had the tumor removed from his stomach, the doctors felt confident that they had removed all the cancer. After removing the tumor, the doctors continued to run more tests. My brother called me tonight with some disturbing news. Billy has bone cancer. He will start 40 months of chemotherapy tomorrow. Friday, June 22, 2007 A step back I want to thank everyone for all of the support and attention that Kaleb has received however, it has become WAY too big for me and Josh to handle right now. Kaleb is starting to get better and now is the time for us as parents to be proactive in his treatment and rehab. We are very tired and weary at this time. All of our strength and focus needs to be on Kaleb & our family. We are EMOTIONALLY drained as well as physically. My blog posting is going to considerably decrease from this point forward. My words are being misconstrued and taken out of context by some. I have to take a step back in the interest of Kaleb. I guess you could say that we are taking a step back to take a step forward for Kaleb. I still however would love for Kaleb to still be in your prayers. This is ALL we need from anybody.
