I did it!!!! I have been struggling with my weight loss for a few weeks now and have wanted to give up in the worst way several times along the way. I have managed to lose 15 in a little over 3 weeks which has been great enough for most people. But the thing that has made me SO thrilled tonight is that I actually got on my size 20 party girl skirt!! For someone that was wearing a size 26 a few weeks back, this is awesome!! Illness In My Home
If I seem out of touch to you all, well I am off my game. For those of you who know me and talk to me the most, you know about my son Noah and all that we have been going through with him. Noah has been sick off and on since January of this year. Something wrong with his stomach. As of this posting, we still have no answers. Poor Noah has been through alot of tests, with probably alot more on the way. We were at Urgent Care for about 3 hrs. today, with more tests that revealed nothing. He suffered through some indignities that I would have hated. Took it like a champ though. A couple of you even know of the "other" problem he's having, but I won't mention here. This is where soldiers who have been evacuated from Germany come to be hospitalized in the United States, especially burn victims. There are some buildings there called Fisher Houses. The Fisher House is a Hotel where soldiers' families can stay, for little or no charge, while their soldier is staying in the Hospital. BAMC has quite a few of these houses on base, but as you can imagine, they are almost filled most of the time. While Denzel Washington was visiting BAMC, they gave him a tour of one of the Fisher Houses. He asked how much one of them would cost to build. My daughter was born Fri. March 7, 2008 at 1:04pm. She weighed 3lbs and 11oz. She was admited to Riley Childrens hospital that night about 8:30. They docters took her by C-section, and then she was put into an incubator and was kept there until she was transford. I got to see her for a total of 5 min. Today is the 10th and I was released from the hospital and was able to see my daughter for the first time since she was born. The hardest thing to deal with was not being able to see her. I haven't got to hold her yet and hopefully soon I will be able to.

This weekend I will be having my yard scrapped so I can get it preped an rdy for grass to be put in plus I am putting a small fence around it as well. Plus my lower flower bed needs to be cleaned an rdy for flowers as well. The box I just removed the bush from is gonna be my herb an fruit box. Why Do I Get Screwed Over?
why do i get screwed over so much? i think that its because i am so nice and let people get away with things. My Banana Bread Recipe
Banana Nut Bread 5 ripe bananas, well mashed 2 eggs 2 cups plain flour ¾ cup sugar 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon baking soda ½ cup nuts (can be walnuts, pecans, brazil nuts) Cinnamon Preheat oven to 350. Grease a loaf pan. Mix the bananas and eggs together in a large bowl. In another bowl put flour, sugar, salt and baking soda. When the bananas and eggs are mixed up good together, I then sprinkle cinnamon in the mixture. I usually put in a enough till it looks right. (I know that’s not very helpful, but maybe about 4 or 5 shakes) You don’t want it to dark. Then I add the nuts. (I use pecans or whatever nuts I get from my folks.) I have used a mixture of nuts. Now add the remaining ingredients (the flour mixture). Mix well. Spoon in loaf pan and cook for one hour. Remove from pan and cool on baking rack. This is a recipe I got from the Fannie Farmer Cookbook and added some changes of my own.

Dirty Phone Booths & Taggers
I happened to be out and about today and my cell phone lost reception for some odd reason. I was in the middle of planning a huge event and so jumped at the chance to finish that conversation on the local phone booth. This was probably one of the most nasty phone booths I had ever seen. My Home Life

I Had My Baby!
Well I have to say that either eggplant parmesan really works or it was a super super freaky coincidence. Friday night (February 29th, her due date) we went to an italian place around the corner and I had eggplant parmesan. That was around 8:30. I woke up halfway around 2:30 or 3 thinking that I was feeling some lower abdomen pains but didn't think it was contractions since they are typically suppose to start at the top of your belly. Finally at 4 am I decided that they were probably contractions since they were beginning to get stronger and a little more painful. At 5am I told my hubby that we needed to start packing things up because I was pretty sure I needed to get to the hospital. We gathered everything up and packed the things and our 5 year old in the car and headed to the hospital. I checked into a room at 6:15 and at 6:30 when they checked me I was 4cm. Weekend Ramblings
On saturday night we had a big irish dinner at home. I'm talking corned beef and potatoes and cabbage and soda bread... it was so good that it was erotic. just want you all to know I am not ignoring you. Just been really busy. Classes are keeping me busy and strugling to keep up. Things have been really busy at the funeral home. Add to that I was really sick for a couple of days, still not 100% but close. on top of that I have been trying to make some repairs on my computer and haven't been having a lot of luck with that. Trying to install a new video card, just have gotten tired of my screen always blinking black. I currently have an nvida FX5200 with 256mb of memory, trying to update it with a XFX nvida FX6200 with 512mb of memory. Think I have it narrowed down to either a bad card or I need a new power supply, I hope I don't have to replace the power supply. Not sure my skills are up to that. So anyway that is why I haven't been around. and now I need to get back to my homework. When things slow down I will be back. I am not ignoring any of you on purpose, just not even time in the days or energy in my old body.

It is a oommon misconception from poeple that say that killing is against one of the ten commandments of God. The reality is that it certainly is but up to a certain extent. Many say "but it says in the Bible thou shall not kill." I was actually corrected by the chaplain that it is a very erroneous translation that says this. Since there are many translaitons of the Bible, it is only correct to assume that different versions will have different translators. The Plan

So my boyfriend's sister is in town. Their mom lives 2hrs north so she came down w/ her stupid ass, noisy dog. That dog pisses all over our fuckin house EVERY DAMN FUCKIN TIME she brings him.
