As I get more (ahem) mature, I'm finding there are things that get easier with age. Life tends to get a bit easier, just because I now know better. I make decisions that seem to help my life, not hinder it. I now know how to cook, clean and keep up with the daily activities and chores that need to be done. I'm doing my best to take two steps forward, not two steps back and so forth. A problem that I've had in my youth, is how to say a simple word, called NO! It's a universal word in all languages. No matter what country you go to, if you say "no" people usually know what you're saying. I believe it's the ONE universal word we have, that way it's just completely understood what is being said and wars will not have to break out because of a communication error. Final Preps
Well....here I am sitting at my desk at work.....doing the whole "hurry up and wait" thing. Waiting for the Security Manager to finalize my security clearance (yeah.....gotta have a Secret clearance to do my job over there). Waiting on Medical (yeah......yet again) to fill perscriptions for 6 months of meds. Waiting to have my "out brief" with my CO. I leave in the morning for Norfolk....and I was REALLY hoping that I could have today to actually take care of some personal stuff. Thank goodness that I took care of the big stuff earlier. Just kind of irritated that I had to come to work the day before I deploy. Oh well.....at least I got a good night's sleep last night. I imagine that'll be the last one I get for quite some time. Thanks for listening to me gripe. :)

Well , things have been pretty good lately. I got to spend a couple of weeks with my son. He came to visit before he gets shipped out to Iraq. I havent seen him for 1 1/2 years , gosh , he looks wonderful... he's put on about 10 lbs of muscle and i swear he's gotten taller. We spent alot of time together and I found out that he will be a gunner on patrols, so at least he will be able to shoot back. I cannot be more proud of him , and frankly , all the soldiers out there. Now just have to pray he comes home safe and sound.

Went to the movies last night. Hubby wanted to watch Jumper.. I wanted to watch spiderwick chronicles. So we each took a kid. Of course.. my baby boy came with me. It was a pretty awesome movie. One I will definatly buy when it comes out. Was a first time we split up like that.. but was pretty good. Can each spend special time with just one child instead of the 2 together all the time.

Early Easter???
Why is Easter so early this year? As you may know, Easter is always the 1st Sunday after the 1st full moon after the Spring Equinox (which is March 20.). Full moon is the 21 st. This dating of Easter is based on the lunar calendar that Hebrew people used to identify Passover, which is why it moves around on our Roman calendar. I just got home from work about an hour ago and I am utterly exhausted...Work kicked my ass last night. My feet are hurting, my calves are burning lol and im just hella sleepy but i need to get some food in my stomach before i make myself sick. Saturday
I'm use to laying around on Saturday's but not on the couch in sweets. More like somewhere cuffed and stuffed. I hate being home on the weekend is sucks. 2 of my brother's friends are here they thought they were getting some last night. Big mistake. If I'm in sweets that means leave me the fuck alone. They have my brother to thank for their safe return out of my room. I'm rambling because it sucks to have the flu. I'm So Excited...and I Just Can't Hide It...
I'm getting really anxious to fuck off to Europe. I know it's two months and a bit, but dammit, I'm packing bags in my head all the time. I have GOT to get out of this country for a bit. The dream from the point that I remember took place around a dock. There was a boat. I was with a group of people, my friends. I think that possibly we'd been on our way to somewhere.
