My Subconscious Overflow

Well if anyone has read my profile, you know that I've had a double mastectomy. Well I've been having chemotherapy treatments because it seems it wasn't caught before it spread. Now before anyone thinks this is a pity blog it's not. I've lived a lot in my life, I've loved and lost, raised hell and been sent to heaven a few times too, but through it all I have never regretted my life, true there are a few things that may embarrass me but not one thing I would change. The doctors have given me my time line and I can do what I want to do in it with out any regrets, sorrows, or even guilt. There is a nice lady on this site who has agreed to make a picture for me that I'm planning on leaving to the hospital...for their cancer wing. Yeah. . .
So, I have been in a really funky mood lately. Like bad funky. Like insomnia, tortured dreams, a major effort to do anything, calling a therapist for an appointment funky. For the first time in my life I think I may need meds. So anyway, I was sitting here staring at the screen the other night and decided I wanted bangs, something I haven't had since I was 13 years old. Everyone's A Winner
What's the point of the rating system? Does anyone really ponder pictures and what they're going to rate them? Highly doubtful. If you post, you're probably getting a "10" or "11". I guess there are "down-raters" out there. Jesus Christ, get a fucking life. It's bad enough that I waste a bunch of time on here rating pictures as it is. I can't imagine how empty my life would have to be to be actually down-rate a picture. Don't get me wrong, I like FUBAR, but I can't take it THAT seriously. It's not like I'm looking at a crotch shot and thinking "You know, if you only had better lighting I'd give you a 10 but I have to give you an 8 for composition." If someone rates me a "1"--so what? Same as if they rate me an "11". It's always nice to be loved but cyber love and cyber hate feel about the same--pretty empty. Anyway, that's why there's not 1000 pictures of me up here. What's the point? I think that if I stay at level whatever, I'll be just fine tomorrow.

Laughable
I've been following a challenge against the Wisconsin state government by the FFRF over what to call the state Christmas tree. The FFRF wants to call it a holiday tree, as it has been called for a long time. The state legislature wants to call it a "christmas" tree to commemorate christian values. I find it utterly pointless and ironic, because obviously since these people spend a lot of time invoking the bible, you'd think they read it. In the bible is a reference to decorated trees being used by gentiles to celebrate the season. The book definitely comes across as being against these trees. Personally, I'm thinking about celebrating the holiday in July and calling it the "anti-christmas". I think that would be funny, aside from the part where I compare it to my feelings about satanists, that they are really just christians in disguise because all the ever do is reverse things to show how "rebellious" they are.

Friends, this 20 month old is in a second battle with cancer, her AML (Acute Meyloid Leukemia) has returned. She's only been home 3 months, and it looks like her remission is over with. Her parents and baby sister are going with her back to St. Jude in Tennessee to get tested for donar matches. They are considering a bone marrow transplant for little Elizabeth as a course of treatment for her this time. All I am asking is please help make a baby's Christmas a little brighter, if you pray please pray for her family and friends, and please pray she gets well. I watch my Mom sometimes. My Dad died 9 years ago. This time of year is rough for her sometimes. Tomorrow would have been their 51st wedding anniversary. I miss my Dad too. He always made me laugh. Dad's Surgery

Reflections
I said earlier today its been a full year since I first came here. Some of you have been friends since the beginning, some are new. I'm just glad you have become a part of my world. I've learned a lot about myself, and others in that year. I've made steps forward. I made mistakes, and again I learned. Yeah some days I was pretty down. Depression can be a tough thing. Just be glad Carrie went away finally. THAT is one lesson I will not have to learn again. But even from that I learned a lot. For the first time in a long time, I really felt like I was worth something, that I deserved something much better. And I guess thats the best thing I learned in the last year, that I do deseve happiness. And it doesn't come from others, it comes from me. I'm glad ya all stuck with me while I was a pain in the butt and figuring all that out. :)

An extremely modest man was in the hospital for a series of tests, the last of which had left his bodily systems extremely upset. This is the first time I have been online today. I have been quite the busy one with shopping today and visiting friends. Peter has been outside most of the day decorating the house and putting up lights....lots of lights! I have at least started my Christmas shopping now. I got the boys Ipods so far. My Mother
had surgery on her knee friday afternoon.. laproscopic .. they scraped the arthritis out and repaired something else(can't remember what its called) anyways I was suppose to take her for her surgery but since I had missed the previous 2 weeks of work I decided Tiger(hubby) could do it, and I still would go spend the nite with her. So after I got off work friday and got showered and around I headed to her house. I took my laptop with me figuring I could maybe manage to hook up to someones unprotected wireless network .. well I sorta did..but then I lost it .. and couldn't get it back :( I didn't sleep well there either :( about 3 hours I'd say. I can get along with my MIL but somethings she says or does drives me nuts LOL I suppose its like that with everyone to some extent. She really appreciated me staying with her, so thats all good AND I survived it even without being able to get on Fubar :O OMG now I know I'll live without logging on here LOL

I've Met My First Person Off Of Fubar :)

Wheelchair Bound 12/2/2007 Ok, so I have a bulging disc in my low back tailbone area & a bad case of arthritis. I’m not able to stand on my feet more than 5 min, or walk w/o being in a great deal of pain & feeling the need to sit. I have to rely on my husband and children to do the daily house chores, cooking, etc. It’s bad enough that I have many other health problems. But not being able to stand or walk, and not being able to do things I need or want to do, just pisses me off. Skin Aging Reversed In Mice By Scientists
Scientists have reversed the effects of ageing on the skin of mice by blocking the action of a specific protein. In two-year old mice, Californian researchers found that they could rejuvenate skin to look more youthful. Further analysis published in the journal Genes and Development showed the skin had the same genetic profile as the skin of newborn mice. The team said the research would most likely lead to treatments to improve healing in older human patients. A Familys Loss
It seems the only time i find myself writing a new blog is when something sad in my life happens and yes it has again. I just lost my father in law. He lost a long battle with cancer. My husband and I had been careing for him his last couple months. He is no longer in pain and we feel he is home now. He passed in his home with the ones he loved his wife of 66 years his son myself and our boys. He will be missed. RIP DAD WE LOVE YOU

Depression
The Blues. Down in the dumps. Feeling low. Whatever you call it... depression is never a good thing. Stress is a regular part of life, but when it controls your interactions with your family and friends it can be a very bad bad thing. Maybe it is just the crap I got going on at my job or the fact that I havn't seen the sun in about oh, 3 weeks. Working the graveyard shift in the winter can be a very hard thing to keep a handle on when you are suffering from depression. I don't know why this is hitting me so hard but it is and I am having a real hard time relaxing and letting go of even the smallest of petty things that just set me off. Retrofest 13-my First Show In Over 2 Months
i took the stage last night for the first time since 9/24--when a drunk man shouted 'hey, you cleared the bar' which put me into a long-term period of depression and self doubt. the retrofests were great--i played 1 through 7 or so---that was in 7/2006--then it seemed that i wasn't good and/or professional enough--so i was never asked to play.--then it seems again there was room for me--yeah!--and its all for charity which is the best part. so the guidelines for this one was it must be songs released in the 1960's. i get real ambitious--i choose the Who's first rock opera--1966's a quick one while he's away'--it's like 7 different mini-songs running like 10 minutes long--filled with frequent time and style changes---and i pulled it off--just me--playing bass and programming a beat machine. i'm so glad my daughter Heidi was there--and the support from the club for me was wonderful-.

Surpressing The Creative Urge...
I find it kinda funny that were people actually given the gift of imagination, and yet not a lot of them use it. Alcoholics
A person never knows when they got a drinkin problem. I know for instance.I almost lost my life the night of november 3 morning of november 4. i was stupid for drinking and driving. i hit a bridge head on with a truck that didn't even belong to me. it belonged to my boss. i pray to god and count my blessings each and every day that i get out of bed that i was able to walk away from that accident that almost took my life. i suffer from a broken neck and loss of feeling in my left arm. doctors aren't sure if the feeling will ever come back. i had to have surgery on my neck. they stuck 2 steel rods and bolts in my neck to keep it together. they also did a bone graph on it. will keep you all updated as doctors do me.
