Sports Car For Grannys Car
Many many years ago...on a pretty sunny day, I had bought a sports car. It was a 1987 Nissan 300 ZX. I had traded my Ford Escort for it. I had named the car, Grim Reaper.....Reaper for short. I have regreted getting him though.... The reason why I had gotten that car was Rich thought it was such a cooooool car, him and his buddy thought it would be awesome to get. I had though...well maybe if I get this sports car, I'd be like..coool...and our relationship would be better in some way.... Yeah Yeah...stupid I know... but that's what I had thought... After I had got Reaper, the guys drooled all over it, pimped it up some more and blah blah blah. It seems that the spotlight has gotten so out of control that none of the lower level members can ever win the bid on it. When I first joined, 9 months ago, the daily spotlight was going for anywhere between 350,000 and 450,000 a day for the bid. It has gotten now to where it is costing 5 to 6 million FuBucks to win the bid for it. That is going to make it virtually impossible for any lower level members to ever win the bid on it. Why don't we, as Godfathers, NOT bid on the spotlight for a month or two and agree not to bid more than a million FuBucks for it and let some unknown members with less FuBucks than we have get a chance. It would be nice to see some new faces up there. Even with the opportunity to give FuBucks to other members now, it would take alot of people donating FuBucks to someone to allow them to get it at the current bid rate. Let's do the right thing so that Fubar can be fun and exciting for all the members and not just the ones with a bank load of FuBucks. F

Yes, its true, I will only have 1 more chance at the spotlight. I am 290k from leveling to Disciple and once that happens, I can no longer bid. Did you know that once you reach level 26 (Disciple) you can't have a spotlight? Had I known that I probably would have tried to get a spotlight ahead of time. But the lovely people of Fubar fail to tell you that anywhere on the site. So now that I'm a little over 500k until I reach level 26 I find out this tidbit of info. I've searched the site to see if this info was anywhere and I couldn't seem to find it. I asked around and heard it from quite a few sources. What to do what to do???...I could forget about ever having a spotlight and keep on leveling. I know, I know. It's ghey to have the spotlight. (Jim, thanks for reminding me.) I actually intended to nab the spotlight yesterday, in hopes that Obama and/or Rahm would see me on the big day, that they might swoon a little, stop in and say Hi, invite me to their balls. But no. hello dear friends~ just an update to my idea of a day of awareness for breast cancer. I really want to have a day for US...for those of us who have fought or who are still fighting this horrible beast breast cancer. Like all good fubar point hoars, I have come to the point where I need to win the spotlight in order to level up. I remember when I first accumulated a million - it wasn't that long ago. I'm now at around 320 million and I really don't see how I can possibly raise enough without a LOT of help. Those of you who know me know I can't stand begging. Barack said he wanted to "spread the wealth around." Why do conservatives have such a problem with this, aside from the fact that they have control over most of the wealth? In 2003 i went for what was to be a normal pap smear and it turned out to be anything but. i was unexpectedly called back to the doctor a week later about my test results. It's spring once again and my skin is a pale yellow compared to the crispy brown of summers past. I think I'm 30 pounds overweight and tons of gym days short of my perfect bikini body goal. Spring always puts me in the mood to shine up my house and get rid of some of the clutter that inevitably finds its way into my home. Yes, Spring has Sprung ~ rounded off last weekend by grilin' n chillin' on the patio drinking beer adjacent to McCumber Swamp. What a lovely evening it was. For those of you who are not familiar with McCumber Swamp here is a brief history:McCumber Swamp has been evolving since 1997; diligently created and maintained by the ever annoying Lawnmowerman who is obsessed with looking into my patio doors. Notice the large dirt ditch he has worn by his repeated passes on the riding mower.The lovely part of spring is the appearance of wildlife as the weather breaks, which we enjoyed immensely last Sunday evening while sucking down large amounts of alcohol on my patio.Of course, this not being their natural habitat, these swamp creature had migrated from a far away foreign place...I do fear that their lives in the swamp will be cut short. Just around the corner is a time of flowers blooming, kids mucking in the mud, and a dreaded 4 letter word called..L.O.V.E. well spring i think might finally be here. about time. i got my first rose that i rodered in the mail today. actually the first rose i got at walmart a few weks ago. it was a blue girl rose. this one is a royal ameythist. my black knight butteryfly bush came last week. and i have two lilacs coming yet as well as an angel face rose and a black rose. so this weekend once randy gets home he is gonna to hopefully be making my rose garden bed. i also saw the first cardinal of the year, i was chasing aiden back into the house for the fifth time. little sneak waits til i take the dogs out and makes a run for it. speaking of birds did i mention i had another one in the house when i woke up wednesday? at least this one didnt quewstion my right to use the bathroom. lmao one thing why is it men always assume you know how they feel if they do not tell you and do not show it? on the aiden side other than trying to get out side, yesterday he got out one, only one sock and made me put it on

I was sitting at the computer on night. Just listing to the rain outside the windo. And feeling the storm browing in my heart. Not knowing what was coming next. Spring Concert And Update On The 400th Anniversary Celebration!
WAHS Senior Chorus On Friday, May 4th, The West Allegheny Chorus and Show Choir put on their annual Spring concert. It was standing room only as usual, and the music selection was a mixture of show tunes, patriotic music, and religious pieces. The talent and stage presence of these kids never cease to amaze me! WAHS Freshman/Sophomore Chorus Andrew is in the Freshman/Sophomore chorus, and has been invited to sing with the Senior chorus in Jamestown. Only two other sophomore basses were invited along with Andrew. The senior chorus, along with Andrew and his fellow basses, will be traveling to Jamestown this coming weekend to perform in various places in Jamestown as well as Williamsburg and Yorktown. On Sunday, our group will be joined on stage by a select group of senior choruses around the country to perform for the 400th Anniversary Celebration. Sprint Drops 1,000 Customers At The End of July Like many times I post anything to my blogs, people, I wish I were joking. If you're a Sprint/Nextel customer, consider changing your service. According to the article, they're dropping 1,000 customers as of the end of July. Thier reasons? These customers complain too much. By evidence of their action, this corporate juggernaut is sending a message to their existing customer base by simply telling them to "Put up or shut up." It was my understanding that when you have unhappy customers, you do whatever is necessary to make them happy in order to keep business. I still remember being told that there are two cardinal rules in the realm of Customer Service. The first is that The Customer Is Always Right. I just dropped Sprint after 7 years. Every time I changed my plan to up grade or get new equipment they mess it up and over charge me. Over the years I have had to deal with their lack of concern for my business. I have kept them because my daughters live in Connecticut and we talk on our phones without using minutes due to mobile to mobile being NC on Sprint In June, I upgraded from a 2500 minute plan to a 3500 minute plan. At the end of July, they charged me for the 3500 minute plan and only allowed 2500 minutes of usage. This drove my bill up by 400 bucks! They cut off my ability to dial out until it was paid. Again, not my mistake. They told me in order to fix it, I needed to pay the bill and that they would correct the error in my account and credit my money back to me. A Spring Day On a spring day, the warm breeze blows over the ground, moving the black dirt through the air. The sun is menacingly hot, while it watches over the day. dunno what im gonna do. i NEED to get away from this house for a few days. i will go mental if i dont. i'd love nothing more than visiting another state for a few days. only prob is i dont know where to go...any ideas? if i dont do that then i will go camping for 4 or more days, i'd more than likely go to a widerness area-which is nothing but nature, no campgrounds, bathrooms etc. anyways ill figure something out. if you guys have any ideas let me know.

Spring Has Sprung For Me

OMG my arms are sore my hands hurt an wow I am just wore out! See I am doing yard work while I can before it starts to rain again an well it is kicking my ass LOL. Between yesterday an today I have fully removed one bush, an cut back another. I have posted some pics of what I have been doing an I will add more when I get more done. This weekend I will be having my yard scrapped so I can get it preped an rdy for grass to be put in plus I am putting a small fence around it as well. Plus my lower flower bed needs to be cleaned an rdy for flowers as well. The box I just removed the bush from is gonna be my herb an fruit box. I plan on planting Basil strawyberrys an other nummy things in there with maybe a couple flowers here an there as well. So if you all do not see me on here that often you all will know why!! Sprint Call Center
Okay, so today I took calls for the first time. Before the first call I actually got nervous enought to where I had to vomit lol. Pretty stupid since I've done call center work before, just for Overstock.com. Anyhow, luckily my first call was a nice person, not someone pissed off at Sprint lol. Anyways, I was fine from then on and I'm really looking forward to pursuing my career there! I have to bid on my shift and no matter what schedual I pick, I have to work the weekends and that sucks cause I don't have child care for the weekend, so I don't know what I'm gonna do. Spring Break Is Over
The FSR (Fat Shit Roommate) just came lumbering in the door so that means that Spring Break is over. The break was good I guess. Spring Break...take 1
well, Jeff is off this week for his vacation. Next week is our daughter's spring break. So we'll have 2 spring breaks around here~!! Since Jeff is off work I am going to get him to help me plant some flowers around the yard. I bought 2 rose bushes to plant and I can't wait till they bloom! I love flowers! I usually have the yard all planted by now but chemo has me slowed a little. Speaking of chemo, I am glad this weekend is over. My son was not here so that was a good thing. My daughter came home Saturday sick with the stomach bug. She didn't eat for 2 days. I kept her home from school yesterday so she could rest but she went today. The house is quiet right now cause the 'boys' are still in bed. Anyway, chemo....I am half way done!! I only have 4 more treatments to go. These last 4 are going to be doozies though. Each visit will take about 5 hours cause the med takes 3 hours to slowly drip into my vein. Then, as if being bald isn't enough...I will loose ALL my hair.

Spring Break
This past week was the best week i could ever ask for. i was able to spend the time with my family all together. My daughter who is in high school and goes to Monahans high ( that is monahans texas), had break the same time my jr high daughter did, and my husband brought both of my kids to see me so that we could be a family for the week. i dont i could have asked for anything better, than to spend it with all three of my girls together. it was the greatest week ever......

So driving to work this morning I couldn't help but notice the beautiful signs of spring. The birds flying around, the grass greening up, tree buds, the wonderful assortment of fast food drink cups along the freeway, bumpers and tail lights from the accidents of winter....Minnesota is such a beautiful place. Springtime + Daylight...
Hey FU-friends. How the heck did it become April? I must have lost track of time or something. Or maybe it is true that the older you get the faster they blow by. It is a fact of life that as we pass through the winter solstice and go running past the spring equinox that there is increasingly more daylight every day. Another well known equation is daylight + rain + warmer temps = the return of flora to the landscape. This is bad for allergies (achoo!) but good for photography. And outdoor activity. And romping outdoors with friends to throw down the cabin fever from the winter darkness and cold. It also means that unless I give up sleep, I cannot spend a whole lot of time FU-barring. Except on weekends... I don't want to lose touch with y'all, and I know everybody else gets busy during the warm months too. So please remember good ole T~Bear, and remember I am not ignoring you. Spring Is In The Air

They had lots of caribou raw hide strings, thongs, and ropes ready to bind the joints together. Soon the frame was finished. Next they sewed the skins together with thongs. They used many caribou skins because the boat was large. It was long and wide for they had lots of things to take home to show the people. While the men were sewing the hides together they saw the caribou skin ropes would not be strong enough for all the lashings to make the boat. They decided they would have to kill a bear to use. They must have this stronger hide to make ropes and thongs to bind the skin cover to the boat and to tie it inside to fasten it to the frame. They got a bear and cut the skin

Spring Cleaning
I just went through my Friends list a dropped a bunch of people. I just get fed up sometimes when my list gets cluttered up with a bunch of people that don't talk! I am here for friends. Spring Has Sprung
When my amaryllis stops blooming and the leaves die off, I hide it in the corner beside a bookshelf. The other day, I was cleaning and happened to peek at it.
