Enhanced Member Profile Ratings..
hey everyone, i've made some tweaks to the way member profile ratings work over the last 24 hours. the changes reduce the load on our system by a huge amount and also have the side effect of letting people earn more points by rating other members more often. basically, it works the same way as the photo rating system. you can now rate someone every 7 days, and every 7 days (or anytime after that) you'll both receive full credit for the rating (including rating count). just as before, you can *always* re-rate anyone at anytime, but if it hasn't been 7 days you won't get any points/credit for it. previously, a member could only rate another member once... and that was it. i think this new way is more fun and gives everyone a reason to show their friends more love, more often. if you notice any problems with the new system, feel free to post here. cheers! Firefox 3

Right now its running low and only taking up 75000 kb of RAM, but when I try and do something it easily spikes up to 150k+. High winds and hot temperatures helped start and fan several wildfires Thursday in Idaho and Eastern Washington. The evacuation orders connected to the 1,200-acre Valley View fire have been reduced and cover an area bounded south and east of 18th and Park to 48th Avenue, and west of Dishman-Mica. Follow up to my blog about my new job offer. I've attended my first martial arts class to learn the ancient art of swordplay. I get to the venue and there's about 20 dudes there, all really fit and scary looking guys. Q & A - Take 3 Q. "How much did they cost?" A. You don't have to pay for things you are born with. So... I recently received a comment on one of my photos regarding the authenticity of my breasts. He auto-assumed they were fake instead of taking a second to ask me. He simply said "how much did they cost?" The Nightwatch

I was just reading an article where a Christian group was slamming the new movie The Golden Compass. They are siting that it promotes Witchcraft. So I got to wondering is it possible that there is TOO much religion? Now I know some religious people will call me blasphemous or anti-religious and all that jazz, but hear me out for a second. I grew up in a VERY RELIGIOUS Baptist family. Everybody was in the choir or on the usher board and spent at least 4-5 times a week attending some type of church function (Choir Rehearsal (one of the 15 different type choirs there was), Deaconess Meeting, Deacons Meeting, Prayer Meeting, Usher Board Meeting, Revivals, Vacation Bible School, as well the many Sunday worship services). And I was attending some of those. I have never shouted out to the Holy Ghost or spoken in tongues or what not but sometimes the pastor says some things that hits close to home. Ethics Question: Law
I was looking around on CNN and I saw an interesting video article about a man convicted of murdering a McDonald security guard back in the early 80's. This whole time he maintained his innocence. At the same time a man confessed to his 2 lawyers of committing the crime. The 2 lawyers kept the confession secret for well over 25 years due to Attorney/Client privileges. Recently the man that confessed to the crime passed away. So the 2 lawyers who he confessed 2 came forward and advised the proper authoritahs of the mans confession to the crime. They even went as far as writing statements back when they were told and put the statements in a safe deposit box. Is it fair for Attorney/Client Privileges to keep guilty people out and innocent people in jail? Should there be a set up that innocent people don't have to sit in jail for crimes they didn't commit but other people confessed to? What do you suggest they do?

What Happened To Being Involved?
A few weeks ago my son (5 years old) had his last Tee Ball game of the season. I was excited to see him up at the plate swinging at the ball, running around the bases, out in the outfield running enthusiastically for any ball that appears to be going in his direction. Next sport for him....soccer. Now I admit I am not the biggest fan of Tee Ball, baseball, or soccer, but as a proud an encouraging father, I feel it is necessary to be involved into any sport or activity my son shows interest in. I am sad to say that other parents now a days do not feel the same. About half the kids on his team did not show up. The other team had a full roster. Then some of those that did show up were just dropped off while their parents went off to who knows where. The "coach" comes strolling up all nonchalant AFTER the game had started. Going Home
I go back home tomorrow,wow what a ride this had been.Got drunker than hell on the fourth surrounding by bikers in a biker town.Now that one was for the books.Will not give detail. My New Job=teh Awesome!!
So... I started my new job on Monday, and let me say this. My expectations are pretty high for atmosphere at work, recently... Apple Elk Grove was awesomely fun, Comtek was an amazing growing experience with some of the coolest coworkers ever (not to mention my awesome bosses, Larry and Rob) despite being one of the most shitty work situations EVER (blame Mike @ Mad Dog for that one). I feel really shitty right now. i only get to see my boyfriend once week, because he's either too pissy, sleeping/tired, or is spending all his time with his friend Fred. The Games We Play
Something I don't think I will ever understand is why people play games. I know that in relationship situations people have been and do get hurt. Given that knowledge I still don't believe it justifies causing harm to others for your pain and insecurity. People get into relationships, and because they have not healed themselves, things get screwed up and in turn another person gets hurt. I see people that are suspicious of their other halves and, in turn to ease their insecurity, they opt to play a game of Catch 22 to catch the liar, when in reality, they themselves are the image they are trying to capture. Well .................... Ive been watching Ray like a hawk since Saturday. Dont want to 'hover' but damn he is the love of my life, so yeah, shoot me! Anywho, yesterday (wednesday) he came to me and told me to look at his tounge, THERE IS A HOLE IN HIS TOUNGE!!! It scared me cuz although he says he is feeling 'ok', his eyes tell me a different story, he looks very disconnected and like he isnt feeling 100% like normal. I called the doctors office and told them of whats going on and they moved our doc visit up from 7/23 to 7/14 and told me to 'keep him quiet' this weekend till we can get in on monday at 11am CST. My mother and I have been fighting for a very long time now for reasons I'm not going to put on here and I've been comtemplating for awhile now whether or not I should be the bigger person and try to make up.
