Wild Hogs
I just finished watching " Wild Hogs" and I was pleasantly surprised. I had heard mixed reviews.. it started out kind of slow, and I was worried it was going to be a series of bad cliches. My husband and I were talking about patriotism and how Americans are so strange about theirs. In contrast to most other countries, most Americans know their national anthem. Most Americans put on a good show of the outward appearance of patriotism. You know the type, draping their houses and cars with the flag, getting bent out of shape over the wording of the pledge of allegiance, singing the national anthem off-key... Yet, when asked, a lot of Americans will claim to be Irish or German or Italian. The same people who drape their houses in the flag. As of 3:30 pm it had been three day's since Kylie had a seizure! And I just got off the phone with my sister and she still hasn't had one! This weekend and next week will be the test though to see if she really is getting better because they're going to try to get her more active and start weaning off those strong ass meds they put her on three days ago to give her a break. Just Got Out Of Hospital Again
I just had another surgery cause my site got infected where I had the first surgery. I have 2 types of infection 1 being mersa. I know have 2 undergo 6 weeks of IV antibotics and the metal plate in my arm had 2 also be removed, so I may be in a third case soon. These antibotics are harsh so please dont be upset if it takes some time for me 2 get back 2 you. I am also getting very weak and well my left arm is getting the brunt of that bad, as for those of you I work with looks like at least another six weeks, at least before I will be returning. Sorry not much at this point but its late and home health care is coming early in the morning to teach me hoe to self andminister these antibiotics (which take no less that 2 and a half hours through IV to take at a time). Brazil, Day One...
So... Miami International Airport is a PIT... avoid the place if you can... That said, American Airlines rocked today, somehow I got bumped to business class the whole trip (with no added cost, yay) and had a great conversation with a couple from Pottstown on the way to Miami and an even better one with a guy from Brasilia, who gave me some great last minute pointers...they might make for their own blog... the flight from Miami was utterly uneventful, and I even got a couple of shots out the windows that i really hope work out.... Snuffed out in Pasadena Sitting at my desk, staring at the screen, typing out the next great article that will keep the readers drooling for more, I realized that I have lost one of the most important parts of my creative toolbox. Four weeks or so ago, I smoked my last cigarette. WTF was I thinking? I quit for something like five different reasons, the main one being that Maryland raised the tax on a pack of cigarettes by a dollar. A pack will cost you just about five dollar now. Common sense and my absolute hate for the liberal government of this state, was motivation enough to put the lighter down. Cigarettes now cost about as much as they do in NYC and we just aren’t quite chic enough to pull of that kind of price. Well we FINALLY get me over this whole herniated disc ordeal, and now we have more medical news to deal with. Jeff had to take a Cardiac stress test on Wed, and the DR. Called on Thurs. saying he needed to be seen right away to discuss the results. We got into the Dr.office this morning, and we were told their were signs og a blockage, or several blockages in his heart, so he was referring us to a cardiac Dr. ASAP. We got home this afternoon, and he got the call from the Cardiac Dr. that they wanted to do a Cath. on Monday at 3pm. So we now go from there, but he is looking at a blockage in his right coranary artery. Please pray for us, becuase we need it. Hope this finds u all well? I will keep everyone updated thru my blog.

I got some news today that got me thinking. Is there more to this life? I bust my ass 5 to 6 days a week for over 12 hours a day for what? I come home to the unconditional love of my dogs and cats, have some conversations with some wonderful people and call it a day. A friend told me that I should be proud of what i do. Another Fallen Hero
My Pop finally succumbed to the sicknesses he's been fighting for the last year and a half. It was beautiful in a sad, sweet way. We knew he wouldn't be around long Sunday, and all of us kids and grandkids and one great-grandkid went to say goodbye. He expired Monday afternoon with one of my brothers, my sister and I, one of my nieces and one nephew all telling him we loved him and we'd miss him. He was buried next to his parents yesterday in Cahaba Heights, outside B'ham. His name was (deleted) 1st (there are also a 2nd and a 3rd). He was the youngest First Sergeant in all the U.S. Armed Forces in WW2. Our WW2 vets are dying at the rate of about 1000 per day. If you know any, show 'em some love, please.

My Band's First Show Recapped!
So last night was my band Low Flyer's first show! We played at The Vent in Fair Oaks, which is a pretty kick-back bar on Madison/Fair Oaks. Oh. And their bartender is a fucking hottie! z0mg. Like, just looking at her would probably be considered cheating, nevermind talking to her lol. So. That's a good reason to come out and check the place out. ;) So we opened the set. Apparently, my wireless unit died in the middle of a song and had to swap cables quickstyle. Other than that, it was a great set, we had a blast! Best Ever Meat Loaf Make the loaf up the night before or in the morning and then pop it in the oven when you get home from work. Make and extra and freeze it for next week! So many meals in so little time. Serving: 8 Prep Time: 15 minutes Cook Time: 30 minutes Total Time: 45 minutes INGREDIENTS: 2 onions, chopped or grated 2 pounds ground beef 1/2 cup seasoned bread crumbs 1 large egg, (or 2 small eggs) 2 tablespoons brown sugar 1 tablespoon dry mustard 2/3 cup BBQ sauce 1/2 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon pepper DIRECTIONS: 1. Horse, Harley, & A Chicken
A Horse, A Chicken & A Harley On the farm lived a chicken and a horse, both of whom loved to play together. One day the two were playing, when the horse fell into a bog and began to sink. Scared for his life, the horse whinnied for the chicken to go get the farmer for help! Off the chicken ran, back to the farm. Arriving at the farm, he searched and searched for the farmer, but to no avail, for he had gone to town with the only tractor. Running around, the chicken spied the farmer's new Harley. Happy Australia Day!
Well the time has come that all Aussies look forward to.. thats right.. a public holiday! Formally known as Australia Day which for my non aussie friends roughly translates to BBQ's, drinking, backyard cricket , spending time with mates who load up the back of their ute with ice and booze (good on ya boys) and a whole lot of aussie pride. This is also the time of year that people wishing to become australian citizens get naturalised as Aussies. A great thing to see.. a bunch of people all different colours with different accents standing in a line wanting to live for all australia stands for... mainly they just want the beer and BBQ im onto them. Not Going Well
well got pissy with some one i care about last nite mostly because i was nt feeling well then i could not sleep from coughing took cough medicine and that upset my stomach i get up and have fever...still having stomach issues...and my laptop screen breaks so i have to actually hold up the damn screen or it falls flat...and im out sick from work....all is not going my way at all! im having dooubts about many things in my life and i dont have anyone to turn to that can help im feeling sick and alone. i dont like this feeling at all. it isnt someting im used to feeling. i usually try to be the cheerful upbeat person but sometimes even i feel down.. this is one of those times.. i think its the fever.

I am trying to build a playlist to put up in my stash and all and I am trying to do it from music on my computer I have been to project playlist and did what it said there as far as signing up now it is finding out the rest. I have had a couple people tell me to change to html not sure what that is since I am a newbie and trying hard to learn this in a short period of time any other help would be greatly taken. Also all the music I have on the CPU is taken from CD's does that matter?
