Is It Saturday?
Gosh my days are all so mixed up with Peter being off of work and the kids being out of school. I just realized today is Saturday! I didn't get online at all yesterday. On This Saturday....
Seems like everyone is getting sick. I look at the friend list on Fubar, almost every one's headline says sick. I look on the CM site, several people I talk to there says "sick." Leveling Up
I wish I had more time on my hands so I can level up more. My wife is already a level 20 and I am stuck on 12. I never have time to do anthing on here because I am stuck in Iraq and always on missions. I am on my Battalion Commanders PSD team and we are on 24 hour call. Hey everyone, I had my surgery yesterday. I realize everyone is in reflection right about now. I usually don't reflect on the past year but as I get older, (hopefully wiser) I thought I'd take a few moments to review....2007... When You Mess Up Admit It...
I have learned in life that when you mess up and deny it it only will make things worse when the situation arises that you are forced to admit your mistake. Just come forth from the moment the messup or mistack happens and admit it. Tell the person that you know that you are wrong you say that you are wrong and that all you can do is apologize and be sure to try not to repeat your mistack again. I have personally made that mistack one to many times in my life and lost one to many ppeople out of my life bacuase of it. I Need Advice Please!!!
I had my gall bladder removed last tuesday (dec 18th) they kept me in the hospital overnight cause i was nauseous. Its been 10 days now and Im still nauseous, I get sick to my stomach. I cant eat, I try but the most I can get down is a couple of bites. Whats Wrong???? Is this normal???? Just when I thought I was feeling better this starts. I dont know what to do, Ive called the ER and talked to a Dr he said that some people stay nauseous for a long time, is this really what I have to look forward to? If I would have known that I would never have gotten it removed. I had to cancel my follow up appt cause of the weather, I go back next week...im hoping I will be better by that time but I dont know. I thought I was feeling better yesterday but I woke up this morning sick to my stomach again!!! This is getting old....please if anyone has any advice please let me know....Thanks

that putting vicks vaporub on the bottom of ones feet, then socks over them while you sleep can stop a cough? One of my friends told me that she read online of the treatment and tried it on her little one when he was sick and had a bad cough. Well today, my son was trying to sleep and kept on being woken up with a bad cough, so I thought.. hmmm wonder if I have some vicks, YUP BINGO! Best Friends Bday
Today is my best friends birthday. We are having a party for her tonight and I cant wait. Of course it happens to fall on the night of the Stars Game, I will live, it will be tough I know. Good Bye To 2007
well, it has been a rough week here. We went to see the surgeon and the cyst is not a cyst it is a cancerous tumor. So now I have appoinments out the wazzooo for MRI, CT, Chest xrays, oncologist, and such. On top of all this...our insurance changes at the beginning of the year and there are problems there. This is just a bump in the road (as Jeff says) and all of this will be taken care of. I am keeping a positive outlook on all of this. I found the lump early and I am only 34 years old~! I will beat this beast called cancer~! I do hope you all have a great end to 2007 as you usher in 2008. Please be careful out driving. I made another silly blog this time but My thoughts are true and hopeful. I been having bad days here n there lately it seems like working overtime and dealing with a bunch of crap in My life too. It is confusing to have five different identities and fortunately I am not Schizophrenic. Now it seems that a friend’s request from an Indian Sikh has been lodged but he does not realise that he is already a friend on Slap and Tickle, well more an acquaintance whose paths crossed wires in Goa in February. Well, I phoned him from a pokey ISD booth and unfortunately it was a Sunday so the call woke him up. This put him at a disadvantage and he was lost for words. Then he wanted me to visit him but if you knew how big India was then logistically it was a no no right from the beginning. Lost Of My Gradpa
Well the day after christmas my step-mom called to tell me that my grandpa (my dad's dad) is sick and it looks like he's going to pass soon. She ask me if I want to go see him befor he gose so I told i would like so yesterday I went to see him he was looking really bad and the doc. told us that that they been doing the best the can do and all. We deside to go see my grandma after to see how she was doing and try to meke her feel better but she is so messed up she cound not talk about my grandpa at all. And today my step-mom called me and told me that he is not doing good at all that they we're going to go up there to see what was going on and then i got a secone call the one I didn't want to get all from them at all she told me that he passed away around 9:30 ish and that she well keep intought with what's going to happiend next. I'm in so much pain right now I feel like I can't breath at all. I just need to let this all out and try to breath a lil.

Ass Kickin Deer Jerky
2 lbs deer burger mix in large bowl 3 tablespoons black cracked pepper 3 teaspoons cayenne pepper powder 1 tablespoon tony chacheries creole seasoning 1 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon soy sauce mix together in bowl for 3 minutes making sure to spread the seasonings evenly throughout the meat. roll out the meat into long tube shaped strips about the size of a pencil in width and as long as you like " i prefer about 8 inch strips" preheat oven 200 degrees. bake in oven for 3 hours turning about half way though the process. pull meat out place in ziplock bag let cool 24 hours in freezer. enjoy redneck ass kickin deer jerky:D

Frustration

Recent Times
Alright been a while since wrote one. Here it is I moved back down to Brawley. Living with Goldie In our own apartment. So we starting out on out own again. My body rested and contoured into my bed, as a long day had left me exhausted. My question is, how can I love someone so much... but let them cause me so much pain? I can't get this "statutory rape" thing off my mind. The 19 year old who had sex with my 14 year old daughter has not yet been arrested or charged, either, so that does nothing in the way of alleviating my sleepless nights, either. Missing Him
So I am getting through the holidays. It is sometimes hard. On the day of my friend Katies xmas party we were sitting at dinner and his song came on the radio. It was his favorite holiday song " baby it's cold outside". His fave version was by Ella Fitzgerald. I of course just broke down at the dinner table ( if you look at my pics you can tell I had been crying). I try not to cry in front of people. My father told me a long time ago " never cry in front of people because no one really cares." My friends, though, came through for me that nite. Overcome And Adapt
I just want to say something about the curve ball life likes to throw sometimes. You may be delt a card that you didnt plan on and it just might put a stick in the spokes of your bicycle of life. I want to say something about my own life that I hope will inspire you when you are delt an undesireable card. I play the bass guitar with a paralyzed left hand. A stretched brachial plexus nerve from a severe car accident caused my fingers on my left hand to be paralyzed. I played bass guitar for 13 years at the time of my accident and just ordered my first 6 string bass online which came in while I was still in intensive care. Doctors told me that I may never play the bass again and that put me in a downward tailspin real fast. A friend of mine had a dream of me playing with the bass in my lap and wearing a slide on one of my fingers. I immediately went to Norman Music and picked up a slide for my pinky finger. I started teaching myself to play again and it sounded like crap.

Working Out At Work
The new company that I am working for has a gym. This makes me happier then you will ever know. Now I can cancel my membership at the gym that I am at now and I can work out before work and during my Lunch hour. Plus the girl that is training me is going to work out with me. Sometimes I forget I'm a white boy from the suburbs and so I try to act like I be a thug. My Volunteer Job After Retirement
Ever since I retired, I've been searching for that "just right" volunteer job. I just want to give back to the community a little something. I looked around a long time and think I might of found it. My Report on crash between Carlsbad and Hobbs on 12-27-07 5:30 PM I was on my way to work when i drove onto the scene of a very bad wreck, 2 semi trucks were involved a Swift truck heading toward Hobbs had been struck when a Water truck was turning into midway station, as i drove closer to the scene i could see people in the road running in diffrent directions and some people on the side of the road waving ther hands, checking my rear view mirror to see if i was clear to slow down i applied my brakes and pulled over, set my hazzard lights and called 911 i informed them that there had been a wreck at mile marker 62-65 and to send EMS, after i hung up, got my hazzard bag that i got when i started this job out of my truck and ran toward a group of bi-standers, the driver of the watter truck was on the ground with a head full of blood, all i could think about was the training video and CPR class, there was a lot of trafic on the road heading toward our direction very fast

my roommate wrote a blog recapping the year. my comment to her was going to get too long to be a comment. so i decided to do my own version. the new year started for me in bed. drunk. high on life. i don't remember what stupid silly thing happened, but out of my mouth comes, "uh oh. this year has it in for me." ... i've never said a truer statement. i couldn't have been happier at the start of this year. i think i can honestly say that was the happiest time i've ever had in my life. nothing could have brought me down. prior to saint patrick's day is a blur of great times with the two people i'd come to call family. at the time, 'if i had it all' had been my latest dmb addiction and i remember quoting to jenn if i had it all, i'd fuck up it... "no, no you won't". ... saint patrick's day, we almost died. a few times. that was the night i learned i wasn't invincible. it was also the moment (i think) that began my downfall. that night changed who i was. ... in a good way now

Chef’s Chocolaty Peanut butter Rice Krispies Treats 1 large bag of marshmallows 1 bag of rice krispies cereal 1 bag chocolate chips 1 1/2 cups of peanut butter Tsp vanilla 1 can chocolate icing 1 Tbs butter 1. Line a large cookie sheet with wax paper or apply small amount of butter 2. In a large metal pot add butter and vanilla melt over med heat 3. Add marshmallows’ stirring constantly using a wooden spoon is best. Lower heat as marshmallows melt. Be sure to mix all the way to the bottom. Don’t allow burning. 4. Remove from heat 5. Immediately add Rice krispies(it may not take the whole thing add half mix add more until desired thickness), peanut butter and ¾ bag of chocolate chips 6. Mix thoroughly using hands (it’s the best way) 7. Dump into pan and spread evenly pressing down hard 8. Place in freezer for 20 min remove 7.
