My Awesome Job
I always dreamed of being in the music industry and now here I am! It is only the first step but being a customer service rep for musician's friend allows me to meet different musicians from all over the US and Canada. I have some awesome conversations which have pushed me forward towards my goal of being a promoter and learning guitar. My opinion is this, you have to figure out the difference between friends and people you enjoy online. Just because you talk on Fubar with someone doesn't mean friends. Just because you add them to your friends list or family list doesn't mean friends. It's mostly people you enjoy. Over time and getting to know people, then you're able to create friendships. Then you can branch out to other arenas...i.e. phone, cams, etc etc...but again, this is just my opinion... I have been on the 'net since 1991, before cams and only typing...lmao I see people trying wayyyy to hard to go too far before it's time to...people you "know" online aren't like ppl you "know" that you work with or see every day... *shruggs*

How To Properly Discipline Children
Most of America 's populace think it improper to spank children. The other day I was talking to one of my younger buddies about methods used to discipline children. We talked about "time outs", grounding, holding back "rewards" until the child displayed desired behavior etc. One of the things we discussed was the act of spanking and my friend explained that no, he does not spank any of his children. He explained that what he does is to take the misbehaving child out for a ride in the car and talk. He said that usually this works and that the child calms down fairly quickly and really doesn't take too much time. By removing the child, in this case his son, from the immediate situation and providing a change of scenery, the child is allowed to focus on something different. Once the child has the opportunity to change perspective, things get better quickly and the child has better understanding of his place within the family and begins to understand

I am not quite sure where all of this is coming from but I feel like I am in this state of confusion... How Life Works

I knew the best story teller ever, then he died. I don't know if I miss him more because I didnt really know him, or if thats why I'm sad. What And Experience.
I have been all over the world from Europe/Korea/Saudi Arabia/Iraq etc. I had been to NYC twice before. One Of Scarest Days For Me
On Monday I kept my two younger kids home from the daycare, because they werent feeling good and I hadnt had much sleep lately, like none in 5 days! My son was acting funny, all he was doing was laying down when he usually is getting in to stuff and running around the house. He fell asleep on the chair in the front room. Movie Review: Transformers (2007)
Plot: A race of good and evil robots battle on Earth over a power source that can destroy all life in the universe. Likes: WOW!!; There is great special effects, inside jokes for TF fans, a good mix of drama and comedy, and great battle scenes. Dislikes: The film was a bit longer than it had to be. Rated PG-13 for violence, language and sexual humor. Parent's Caution: Except for the sexual humor, it is about as violent as the cartoon show was. Out of four stars, I give it 3 1/2 stars. A great film but a little long.
