You know how in life we all have our own code of ethics our own standards and expectations of things. Usually that is because we want to be treated a certain way-Or we want a certain situation to turn out a certain way. If you want to be respected then you treat people with respect , if you want to be loved then you give love if you want a fight then you pick a fight you want honesty then you yourself be honest,and on and on . But what happens when you encounter someone or something where that concept is foreign? do you continue to apply the theory of "Do unto others as you would have done unto you" do you demand the same as you have given or do you say screw this and move on ? Good morning my blogaphiles. Sorry its taken so long to post my second entry here. I have been busy with helping a friend deal with court and all kinds of fun stuff! Enough about the boring details of my nonchalant life, on with the Poomse! Before we discuss any forms lets talk about what makes a form. It will help in understanding what I am saying about the forms themselves and what they represent physically and for a lack of a better word, spiritually. There are many movements within a form, everything from a simple punch all the way to a double hand block with a strike. Standing Still For Now
I find myself needing to just stand still. Meditate and pray about matters. I have done a lot in certain things and for the longest time it just felt like it was not meaning anything. I know it may have, but saying how I felt....especially when things were not being shown back. I mean shown back in where everyone was seeing it, not just me. 1st Annual Cure Chiari Walk
I am organizing a walk that will be held on March 22, 2008 @ the sedgwick county park It is to raise money for research to find a cure for chiari malformations. Chiari is a congenital brain disease that afflicts 1 in 1,000 people. It causes memory loss, severe migraines, balance issues, confussion, vision disturbances, and a host of other symptoms. Standing In The Dark
Since my last post, ive not gotten much better. Not hours after my post i gave myself alcohol poisioning [imagine that, in a attempt to not cut, i make myself vomit for 8 hours, plan backfired]. I managed to quit puking a few hours before my first therapy session. Sadly i get 20 visits a year on my insurance, i guess were going to try to figure out how much it costs per session because at this point 2 visits a month arent going to cut it. i also had a root canal and crown[crown is being finished thursday] thanks to no dental insurance, there is another 4k out of pocket. Like i dont already feel like a mooch from my mother. Im working on getting to another doctor to see about some medication, this time refferd by my therapist. Its to the point im not safe anymore I dont think. I live alone[i have a roommate but shes never home], i dont want to see people because my mood is so poor anyways. My mom had to ask me last night if i needed to go to the hospital, I was freaking out so badly

Hey Everyone!! :) I know I have been logged in and not around, I also know I haven't updated the List of Levelers in the past few days... I am so sorry. I have been working and sleeping, packing and throwing things in storage, and then... on top of it all, my kids have the annual standardized testing that starts NEXT WEEK!!! We just came off of Spring Break and we were all sick before then, so the kids missed a lot of the starter info before vacation, and now.. ITS CRAM TIME!!! I am going to update the list real quik, and hopefully once exams are done, my life will be back to some level of normalcy. The bad thing about comming to your office to take tests is you often think about other stuff. I often don't understand how being the special case in some circumstances often gives you worse benefits than if you were an average person involved in the same situation. Okay I don't know how I missed this before but its beyond cool. Check this out... I broke out the Fubar, a new kind of hammer with an appetite for destruction, because the chicken-wire-like backing on my friend’s plaster walls was dulling my reciprocating saw blades like they were made of wax. Stanley designed the tool because today’s contractors use hammers mostly to break stuff—they drive nails with pneumatic guns. Stand
Stand can mean just about anything. It could be an action asking someone to get up on his feet or a measurement of one’s height. It could go as far as ordering one to remain, to the extreme, motionless or better still, a principle or attitude. This word may mean anything depending on its contextual clues. Words are a never ending source of wonder that tugs the heart and challenge the mind. One group of words combined in one way would tickle the spirit and make it dance to the music of its own creation, while the same group of words combined in another way would cause the landscape to waver through the tears.

OK I just want to go on record as saying I never said this would be a pretty season. The Stars proved that point too well last night. I had flash backs to March 3rd when the Stars faced Phoenix for their first game back after the extended Olympic break. In both games the Stars did not get the memo on the starting time for the game. In Phoenix they never did get their clocks set right, just cleaned out really thorough with a 6 to 2 loss. Last night they stumbled through the first two periods as if they were still on practice speed. They always seamed to be just a stride behind the Av’s players. They were not showing any drive to get to the puck and finish off their plays. There was way too many Av’s standing around in front of Turco unchallenged. A couple of months ago, I thought that I would never get my life back. I was depressed, and I was scared. Everything looked bleak and dull. With the help of my friends(and you know who you are), I slowly started down a brighter path. Through their help and guidance, I have perservered to where I am now. Starting over!! Wow, what a scary phrase! But I'm doing it. Have everything that i worked so hard to achieve back again. And even though, every now and then defeat looms overhead, I know that I will conquer all my demons. I am blessed, and I am loved. I can go on knowing that I am never alone or out of His sight. God has truly blessed me with exceptional people. My daughters will grow up knowing a loving God and that I did not turn my back or hide with my tail between my legs. The Stars did waste any time letting the Kings know they were in town for business not pleasure. Miettinen scored just 19 seconds after the game started. Coach Tippet changed up the lines and the biggest one was putting Morrow, Modano, and Lindros together. Each time they were on the ice they dominated the puck. Starting The New Year Off Badly!
Sooo...the new year is not starting off too well for me. I was on my way to buy the Snakes on a Plane DVD for the party we were having for it tonight (yeah, we're retarded like that lol) and I got into a damn car accident. Apparently some lady pulled out of the shopping plaza right in front of this other lady, who slammed on her brakes, so the person in front of me slammed on hers, and then I slammed on mine, but sadly it was too late. The three of us pulled over, the girl I hit didn't get the lady in front of her, but I did some minor damage to her bumper. I got some paint from her car on mine, but I don't care much about that. The girl was real cool about it and said she won't turn it into the insurance if it isn't necessary. I gave her my number so she is going to call me when she finds out if there is any real damage. She just has some of my paint and a little dent I think. I told her I'll probably just pay for it if it isn't too expensive. We'll see. So yeah that sucked. I know

Not sure how I get roped into these things. It all started with getting a computer in my house. Wow... how exciting (am I a geek or what?) When I got my first computer in 2003, I didn't even know what "blogs" were. Back then, all I knew how to do was email and play games. I've been looking for some type of exercise that isnt going to cause my back to attack me ..( bad back from a car accident) thru my searching Ive found 2 things I think may really work for me while not breaking me in two.... One Being Yoga .. and the other Belly Dancing .. Both seem like something that Id be comfortable with and willing to actually stick with .. I did some light yoga when I was pregnant with my son many years ago to help keep my back in shape as I was in the accident when I was pregnant .. and I always find myself looking into belly dancing .. The first thing you want to do when you get the idea of improving is to write it down. It can be as easy as "I want to get in better shape" or "I want to get rid of this fat." It's rained the last two days, so work has been slower. And when its muddy, I hate walking thru it. I know, I'm a sissy. Last night, I assisted my fine chef of a son on his cooking assignment. Hello everyone! Well, we finally did it! We got another dog after 9 months or so without one. Her name is Starla, she is a 1 1/2 year old Black Lab mix. She is very active and loves to be outside or with me and the kids. She has some bad habits we are going to try and break her off. Like chasing cats and our neighbors' cows. She is also very loving. Hello All, reporting in for the weekend. I didn't do all that much, worked around the house mostly. I avoided work Saturday, because we weren't as busy as we thought. Well, my boyfriend is going to be finally getting his own place. The BITCH that he was with cheated on him 3 times, and yet she tries to say that she gave over a 100% in the relationship. I don't call give over a 100% after cheating as many times as she did. I think that it is just FUCKED up on her part. He seems to be a nice guy, and it's pretty fucked up that it happens to the best of us. It seems like the good people are the ones that gets screwed over.
