First Entry
Gotta start this sometime and somehow, so here we go. Yes...I'm a bit strange in I wear my hair long, spend a lot of my youth as a heavy metal drummer, but right now my passion and my committment lies in Square Dancing, and my journey to becoming a Square Dance Caller. I've been learning for the past four years, and I think I'm getting close to my goal. I had an audition a couple weeks back to perhaps earn my first club, and it went great. I can't tell you how exciting to be up there with a mic in my hand, doing what I enjoy doing, and seeing a sea of smiles on the faces of the dancers. I'll be performing at the State festival in Ocean Shores in June, and in August I'm headed to Pendelton for the USA west convention that will feature folks from the western third of the united states. So that's my passion in a nutshell. I might fit in here, or I might not..who knows?

so yesterday Rah & I went to Tri County Mall to try to walk Landon out. Well it ALMOST worked, but my cervix decided that it didn't want to dilate any. =( But I had gotten into her truck, and felt a little bit of a gush of water. So immediately I thought my water had broken. So we went to a few places, and I called my doctor, and Rachel was on call and told me to go ahead and go to the hospital, and to pack my bags because if my water is leaking they were just going to go ahead and lemme have him. So I called my mother, and a few other people that are really close to me, and let them know what was going on. So I get to mom's house, and I pack my bag, and get it ready. well then I went on up to the hospital. We were there for a while. They checked me like 4 times to see if my water was leaking, and the tests came back negative. My contractions were pretty steady though. And the Landon's heartbeat looked great! So they did a mini-ultrasound on Landon, and they found out there wasn't much

Starting Over
This is the second time I've been on Fubar. I originally started with LostCherry (then CherryTap), but I grew tired of watching the evolution of the site. As the creator(s) of the site kept adding new items, people would get upset and judge each and every time. Then there were those that decided they wanted to be tough online. C'mon, how tough are you if you spend 10 hours a day online! It's not like you have much of a social life at that point...get a hobby! But I digress... My Thoughts
I'm doing this blog just to get some things off my chest. Last night I was setting here at the computer and on the ticker it went by that wrestling kills. So I went to check this article out, and when I did it pi$$ed me off. Here again people are throwing the blame of a death of a wrestler on the business that I love. They saying that wrestling drives these guys to kill theirselves. I have been wrestling since Aug 4 2001, three to four times a week. The pain is huge that ya put your body through dont get me wrong but not once in almost seven years have I took a handful of pills to get me over what I put my body into. Its my decision to do it and i'm strong enough to handle the pain with out the pain killers. Apparently the guys that are dyeing from these things are not strong enough to make it with out those things. For once cant some wrestler pass away and the blame be put on them and not wrestling being blamed, seeing as its what the guys were doing to there bodies besides wrestling

Liam Is Learning!
Liam is progressing so quickly all of a sudden. When he first came back to the states, he would not eat solid food even though he was 14 months old. He violently shook his head and shoved spoons away. When he first opened his mouth for a spoon two months later, we were in tears. But even after that, the battles went on. Next it was getting him to chew, which he has down now as well. But up until today, sippy cups were hell in a handbasket. He wanted bottle bottle and could contourt his body away from the cup. But this morning during speech therapy we filled his new set of sippy cups with Mandarin Orange Propel and this was the result.

Happy Birthday To My Daughter!
I wake up and it is just another beautiful day. Today is my daughter's 20th birthday. I can't wish her a happy birthday because her and her boyfriend went to our cabin for a few days and the only way to call out up there is to go up to the top of the mountain. Things are slowly beginning to look up for me in life. Just A Warning About One Hosting Site You Don't Want
Hi, My name is Tammy and I just wanted to warn anyone out there who has a radio station about a server that you do NOT want to deal with. My husband and I came across a great deal back in December and couldn't pass up the opportunity..so, we decided to take the offer we received thinking that we had made a great choice. We thought we would help them out as well as get a good deal on hosting services. Well for about the first month our station was only up about 20% of the time...as I said, we didn't think much of it because we thought they were a new hosting service and just trying to get things going. Well, from that time to now, we have learned alot, their uptime went up, but not to the limits they claim. They say they have 97% uptime, which is a lie. We were down every weekend at least 2 if not 3 days. I'm talking Friday Saturday and Sunday here. The days when you usually have the most listeners on your stations. My husband is back in the states. I am back here in Illinois, patiently waiting his return to me. He is back at Ft. Lewis waiting to be released. He has PTSD. Those of you who know me know that I live in Kansas, and I am in the National Guard. So the whole thing about this war hits me a little personally (yes I did spend time in hell). Anyway, Today on the radio I heard a lady talking about what the student body of K-State is doing in honor of the 4,000 troops that have lost their lives for you and I. They are setting up a display of American flags. Each one will have the name, rank, and date the soldier died and be grouped together by the state they lived in. An Extra Night
So Sam was supposed to head back to Jersey tonight. She was sad, Van was sad, and I got a text stating that there being an empty seat on the way home from the airport was worse than sitting in traffic. Buuut... thanks to bad weather in San Francisco, she's there for another night. She gets another night with Van, even though she has to be up and at the airport by 6:30 am tomorrow. There's still that last, extra night. They're taking comfort in the fact that she'll be back soon, although they're both fighting back tears.

Over this Past weekend, when it's supposed to be a joyous weekend, with me going home for Easter and being baptised and all, it turned out to be a miserable weekend. Job Search
My job search has seemed to fizzle out somewhat. But Friday of last week, was the start of something else. I talked to my boss, and weve had a few good positive conversations about work. For one, she was never mad at me, but was mad at someone else. Were also working on a way to keep my job, and work around a scheduale to allow me to go to school. I dont know what else is going to come of it, or if im going to go any further for now at finding another job. Id say a good half of the reasons I was going to quit are now gone, but the other half is still there. All this, from a few conversations, and at least a few others to come. Kind of amazing to me what can be accomplished.
