Story Time Part 2
After a month or so, she slowly she started coming out of it. She started talking to her family again and even me. I was just happy to hear from her is all. More and more she stated coming out and living again. Talking to me. Still it was sporadic at best. Ang’s birthday was coming up on Valentine’s day. I was in love with this girl and she knew it. I asked for some help to send her roses but her family declined. It was ok. First I included us as a cameo in my comic for that week. Then I did two drawings for her… one was a generic birthday card… that included her and her twin sis staring each other down to see who would get to blow out the candles… and another with a very personal message from me to her. She was smitten. She loved them both… but as per usual when I called her she didn’t pick up the phone. Or return my messages. Still the next day was my birthday. Now I’m not selfish. I don’t ask for presents. I don’t want money. I just wanted people to wish me a happy birthday.

Remembering
I've just kinda been sitting here today thinking back on the last 9 years and what happened then. 9 years ago today my Grandmother died and every year since I get a overwhelming sadness come over me for like a week and I can't shake it. It just washes over me and depresses me. I'm not sure why I get this way or why it's around for that long. Even if I'm not actually aware of the date the feeling makes me aware of it and then I know. I just seem to be in a mood where I don't wanna be around people or anything and every little thing sets me off. I guess it's just something you deal with and this must be how I am dealing with it. Not sure if it'll always do this, but it could simply be that I just miss her that much. Love Ya Grandma Always!!!!

My Deployment
well i have about 3 weeks till i start training for my deplyment. It cant get here fast enough. Im ready for another deployment, i more then likely will volunteer while on this deployment for another one in iraq. If for some reason i cant get one to iraq, i guess i will do what i have been putting off. I will go to a school for massage therapy. I know it will make my family happy i i dont deploy again. The waiting is the most boring part of this whole deployment, well so is the whole doing the online crap i have to do. The whole filling out a survey on what do if im captured, telling them how many tattoos i have and all that other crap. I dont plan on getting captured, i plan on fighting till im dead if it comes down to it.

The Highs And Lows Of Getting A New Computer..
I finally got my new computer today.Pentium Duo Core 5 Gig chip,512 MB Video Card,Sound Blaster Live 5.1 Sound Card, and 250 Gigs of hard drive space. No longer will I use that stupid Pentium 2 900mhz chip. This thing makes it look like a dinosaur. The Lows? I cant get any fucking audio out of it.Not sure what the hell is going on, but I can't get no sound or anything.Its frustrating as all hell. Everything is hooked up correctly,drivers are installed and up to date,speakers are turned on,but alas,no sound. Its driving me nuts. Geek Squad has no clue what is wrong, neither does my geek buddies,same with Creative Labs and Asus,they both have no clue.

Our Andrew Lee was bought in the world a month early. February 20th at 1:38 pm weighing in at 5 lbs 2.4 ounces 17 & 1/4 inches long. Thanks to all my friends you know who you are that helped with kids dogs and such, when in the crunch of getting to the hospital and not knowing what time we would be getting to go home. My sis and baby are fine baby is a lil small and is on oxygen just to help him out. Sis gets to come home tomorrow. Lil Andrew will get to come home in about 10-14 days, after he is winged from the oxygen and learns to suck on his own.I have in cluded some pics of the baby!!!!

How It Feels To Be Engaged
Wow, it feels so good being engaged to my real life boyfriend. I love him with all of my heart and soul. He asked me to marry him last week on V-day. He told my best friend (who introduced me to him) that he knew that it was the right time to ask me. The only people who know is my best friend and his mom. We haven't told my parents yet, because we have decided to wait until I actually have an engagement ring on my finger. Temporary, Im wearing his High School ring right now until he has enough money to pay for it. And we have also decided to wait a couple of years for the wedding because we want to take all the time we need and save money. After all, it is much to deal with at one time. The Mexican
Tonight I was playing video games in the truck stop and I kept hearing someone making noises that sounded like they were having their own one person party. I turned to look and saw a little chubby Mexican guy playing the free machine. He was hooping it up every time that his little game character did anything, including dieing. I kind of shook my head and chuckled. That's when he noticed me laughing and decided to talk to me. Long story short, in his broken English, he gave his life story to me over dinner. He had only recently became a citizen in the US. He worked 41 years of his adult life to be here legally. He told me of his struggles in Mexico, and the things he and his family had gone through to do things the right way. Some of the stories he told brought tears to my eyes. To sum it all up, and not bore you to tears, the man made me take a minute to be thankful for the life I have. I just got back Monday from spending 4 days with my Suzy. It was great. We went to an awesome place called Cedar Key and shopped and had some really good food there. So was at the last stop on the route the other day in Hartford. Everyone has to go in a different door now, used to go in through the garage, but some dumb bitch who wasn't supposed to be in there in the first place - she was flirting with the guys - tripped & fell & is filing a suit. Just cracked me the hell up... Went back today with the camera...this is what you see when you first walk in...HELLO! they're just as big from the other side. see? On Feb. 17, 2008 a total of 0.93 of liquid precipitation fell by 11 am when it switched over to snow which fell steadily till 3:30 pm. Strong winds blew the 2.8" of snow around and there were whiteouts in the rural areas. Some of te roads drifted shut again. The total snowfall for February stands at 34.0" which is also our 2nd snowiest month ever. Only January total stands at 67.7". We set a daily record for precipitation on Feb. 17 with 1.20". Our 34.0" for the first 17 days of February is also a new record for any month. While the first half of February was below normal, last year, the first 15 days were over 14 degrees colder. The first 10 days saw below readings. With 3.84" of precipitation so far this month, we are now in 2nd place for the wettest February, only 2001 with 4.19" had more.

As I practice psychiatry without a license I often think about those dividing lines between what people think of good and evil. Those things we often call morals. Most people would say that someone who kills another human being is an evil person devoid of morals. But what happens when someones moral view are a little more narrow. To some it is deplorable to cheat on a relationship. Most people would stand on their moral high ground and cast down stones upon that person who finds themselves distracted by the lust that fills their heart. Hey everyone, I guess Im a bit reflective today. So much has happened in the last year of my life. Ive had my heartaches but Ive had my fair share of blessings too. Im at home, for lunch, just thinking of how truly blessed I am. My husband Ray, what can I say, he is the sunshine of my cloudy day. He is EVERYTHING and more than Ive ever wanted in my man/lover/husband. Its all the little things that mean the most to me and he provides that for me + some. Rain Rain Go Away!
Just when I think Winter is over....it gets cold again and is raining. :( I am really ready for Spring to come. It was nice having a week of almost 70 degree temps. I will stop my bitching now. My Trip To The Grand Canyon
A few years ago, I went to the Grand Canyon from Las Vegas in one of those little puddle-jumper planes where they have to weigh you before they let you know where you can sit. For the past several weeks, Navy Medical has been poking and prodding at me to make sure I am healthy enough to deploy. Healthy enough??? Come on now! I know I'm an old fart (by Navy Standards) but I'm not ready to give up the ghost just yet. I have been having some recurring left shoulder pain for about a year now. Unfortunately, I was experiencing some of the "classic" symptoms of heart problems. Pain in my chest, numb fingers and arm on my left side, pain in my left arm. So, of course, the docs expected the worst (and rightfully so.....this ain't no joke). So....more poking and prodding ensued. EKG's, stress tests (Never mind that I PT just about every day with no problems), the works. All the while, I've been concerned that if things went bad, I would not be allowed to deploy. Lunar Eclipse
Last night I was struck by surprise by the massive rock in the heavens. I unknowingly witnessed a full lunar eclipse. Upon looking to the sky I instantaneously had flashbacks of the last lunar eclipse I saw on the playa in Black Rock City (Burning Man for those of you that aren't aware). It brought me in awe and the stresses of the day were no more. It is amazing how such an event can change the course of the day. I sat thinking of all the fun I had back in BRC and watched the eclipse till it was no more. I haven’t shared much about that day but that day in BRC will go down in history. This is how the day’s story goes… Late Sunday night we were scheduled at the greeter’s station to prepare for the rush of people waiting for the gates to officially open to the public. Crappy Months
So the last month or so has been pretty shitty, mid January my grandma on my dads say passed away from cancer and then this past Sunday, Feb 17th, my grandma on my moms side passed away. So yeah, its been pretty rough and crappy. They both lived far from me, one in California and the other in Virginia, and I hadn't seen either of them for a few years, but they were my grandmas and now I'll not be able to see them again. I didn't realize how hard I would take their deaths until they died. Anyway, it just sucks and I wanted to say something about them. Rest in peace grandmas, love you!

The Search Continues...
On February 9th, one of our cockatiels. We got them from my ex father in law, and to me, they were noisy mess makers. One minute Sunshine was squawking, the next minute, she was dead on the bottom of the cage. We're not sure what happened, but we do know the result. So all we have left now is Choco. We believe he's the male. I'm pretty positive. So we figured a few days of adjustment, and things would be back to normal. He was up at 6am, squawking and calling out for her. Nonstop. Til' 10 PM. first thing in the morning. I get an email to find out that my cell company has "policies" in place and that I should understand. bottom line the phone will not be turned on until payment is received. Our office finally made the move away from Bitch-Face and her clan. The move happened on a Friday and continued to...well...we're still getting settled.
