So last night I got my ass kicked at work...I just got home like 5 minutes ago. My whole body aches and im ready to pass out but I had to write this blog first....... I got my first evaluation last night and I did great...so great infact that I got a 40 cent raise!!!! Im making $10.50 now...I ve never had a job before that paid this well....Im so freaking happy and excited...now my plans can move on for the future...go back to school in the fall, get my own apartment, and get that brand new car!!! Atlantic City
Kara and I went there one time. We were maybe 8 or 9. She had pigtails and I wore glasses. We had the whole afternoon to play on the rides. She wanted to ride the rollercoaster so much. I gave in and we rode the coaster a zillion times. She got scared the first time we went over the bump, though, because she thought we were going to hit the huge neon Atlantic City sign. We never did, even though the drop always made it feel like we would be thrown right into it. When the ride finished the first time, we refused to get out of the seat. We ended up riding the coaster until the boardwalk closed. It was so much fun. I couldn't stop laughing. In fact, my own laughter woke me up. Dreams are funny, sometimes.

well, it's Friday~! Not much has happened this week here. I have had no energy at all to do anything. But being a MOM you know we have to keep on going no matter how bad we feel. I have done little housework and now this morning I have loads of clothes to wash and dry. I have cooked supper every night....so that is good. But that is about all I have done in the house. My hair is gone so I wonder if having hair is the root to having energy....LOL. I signed the kids up for an art class for tomorrow. I hope it is warmer tomorrow than it is today. Anyway, the art class is kinda a therapy for kids with loved ones fighting cancer. It is being held at the local cancer association office. While they are doing that I am going to look around the wig/hat room. Who knows, I may come home with a new "hair style"~! I miss not chatting with my friends as much as before. Truck With Dog At Wheel Backs Thru Traffic Unscathed
Police said Charles McCowan parked his pickup in front of a mini-mart Wednesday, leaving his 80-pound Boxer named Max in the passenger seat. When he came out, the truck and Max were gone. Death Of A Wonderful Friend Today.
Today 22-2-2008 I had the most stomach churning news since my father past 18 months ago. That my very best friend mother (sharon) has passed away at the age of 53 from cancer. The thing that upsets me the most is that 5 months ago they told her she had cancer and she went home to await a consultation. then they call her back after lying home alone in her bed vomitting and messing herself unable to move for 3 MONTHS! oh we're sorry you actualy have TB, go home and we'll give you antobiotics! she then becomes so sick that she's a lifeless shell. and jodi (my best friend) calls her an ambulance and takes her back to the PILGRIM!!! hospital in lincolnshire. where they look at her tell jodi they dont have a bed and she should take her back home, jodi stands there with security around her screaming! "you left her like this, now you fix it!" A week pases and they call jodi to ask her back to the hospital for a meeting with admin. She arrives to be told there sorry "yet again!"

So on Tuesday I was in a horrible car accident caused by a man stalled out on the highway. I got a few minor injuries. Bad. But to top it off I then I find out he has NO insurance. Worse. As many of you know my cat suddenly went lame. Yesterday he took a turn for the worse and seemed to be in pain. Last night I heard him about 2:00 am let out a yelp. This morning I found him on the basement floor. He had died during the night somehow. Binkx came into our lives at a time when the children wanted a pet. Post Op Recovery Report
Today I got the plaster splint off my arm. Goddess what a relief that was. It was squeezing my swollen flesh so badly I was in tears last night... I had surgery a week ago to screw a titanium plate into my shattered wrist. It's a T shaped plate, with the top of the T across my wrist and the leg of the T screwed into my radius bone. The Doc had to make a 6 inch incision on the inside of my arm and a 3 inch one on the top/outside of my arm. The post op report says it was a challenging repair. It's been a challenging month, let me tell you! Three weeks went by before the Doc decided I needed surgery... His report says "Even with good volar (palm side of forearm) exposure and elevator in the fracture site all the way to the dorsal (back side of the arm) extent of the fracture, it was not possible to achieve acceptable reduction. Therefore, it was necessary to perform a dorsal approach as well. In other words he had to open up both sides of my arm to successfully affix the plate

The Long Road Ahead...
Well I am finding my life has taken a turn that was truly unexpected. I am using words on a regular basis that I never would have thought I would ever use, CAT scan, Biopsy, lymph glands, and more. I went into the hospital in AZ when He and I went down theah this last holiday season. They found a blood clot in my neck. The problem with the whole thing was while they were all mystified with the rarity of the place of the clot they totally disregarded the swollen lymph glands. They put me on Coumidon, a blood thinner for those that don't know, and sent me home with a promise to see my own physician when I got home. I did that as soon as I possibility could and went on with my life taking the meds as I was told... well I did run out of the 'C' Coumidin while I made out my med tray the forth week back. I filled out the prescription as soon as I was able to but forgot to fill in the missed pockets of the tray... in a way it turned into a god send because the swelling in my neck increase

Life Is Like The Mist
Life is like the mist you see just as the sun's coming up in the morning. You see everything real clear when it's close up like in the present. As you try to look beyond like into the future it gets kind of hazy, and the further you try to look the more hazy it becomes. You see the dark and light shadows, and they are almost visible, but there is still that haze that blocks total view. Then there is still the light that you see in the mist like the hope of a bright tomorrow or a bright future. Then the mist starts to let up, and you get to see a glimpse farther like getting a peek at what is yet to come.
