i miss my father its only been 2 years Dec 11 2005, the day I lost my dad was the hardest day ive ever had to deal with. Thinking back to all the times I had to spend with him and the good times we had this song came to mind. I know i will never have another moment with him He'll never be able to walk me down the isle when i get married and he will never again get to play and spend time with his grandkids kids and wife. Speaking Of
I cant believe how quick today is going. There is just so much to do. Cleaning and decorating. We are supposed to get our tree today but this place is very small and with a three yr old and a 11 week old new baby it seems we are really just tripping over each other. I have been talking to our realtor and its a great market to buy. I have looked and saw some great homes. I really hope hubby decides to put our house on the market because we just cant do it in this small house with too much yard. we need half the property and twice the house. I really should be doing something other then this. But I am stressed and that means I'm ornery and that makes my son cranky so I'm trying to get it out of me amd maybe change my mood . Life is good but I am certainly getting cabin fever from being in pretty much the last whole yr and with the new baby pretty much glued to the house with nursing. This has turned into an interesting day for Dakota, the 13 year old grandson that lives with me. He got injured in his last match yesterday at a wrestling tournament in Marshfield, WI. Whacked his right elbow really hard by falling on it while having his opponent in a hold of some kind, lol! He is now sporting a lovely cast - broke his elbow! And, of course, he is right handed, lol! He'd been complaining of a sore throat, so for chuckles and grins I asked that they check for strep! Yep, he's got strep as well. Tim, 16 year old grandson, is upstairs with a tummy bug - same one I think Damian, the oldest, has. But Damian doesn't live here now, lmao! Tim and Taylor work with Damian at Burger King, however!! Gratitude
I just came back from an AA meeting and we talked about gratitude. I wanted to share a bit what I shared and learned... I am grateful of what is happening in my life. Yes, I cried, fought tooth & nail, blamed others, but I'm truly grateful it's all happening to me because if it wasn't, I probably woulda been dead. I am grateful that I relapsed and now have to start over being sober. I am grateful I now have an ulcer that almost put me in the hospital. No matter what tomorrow brings, I know Goddess has her hand on me and will take care of me. Am I scared? Hell yeah, but I know She will be there to help me, direct me, do whatever it takes to make me what She has me to be. I know if it's Her will, the people that are mad at me will come back into my life. It's not my decision, it's Her plan.

OK so here goes again...... It doesn't matter if you requested the friendship or I. When you accepted the request or I, we then became friends.... For Weight Loss?
About two years ago, I went out and got the DDR game DDR Max 2. I thought, hey this looks fun. I also thought it might be a good way to get some cardio/exercise into my life. My highest weight was 207. I figured it couldn't hurt. So, two years later, I have a second game (Supernova), and I absolutely love doing DDR. I'm down to about 194 now, but there have been periods where I stopped doing it for a month or two. My husband actually does it with me most times, and he enjoys it as well. I'm getting back into weight loss mode now, I will do DDR every other day, at least, for about 45 minutes to an hour each time. I have mastered Beginner and Light/Basic modes. I'm now working on Standard/Difficult modes. If anyone would like some cardio in their life, I would recommend DDR for sure. It's fun and provides a good workout as you get higher in level on it :) I will post updates on this blog with my progress. Thanks for reading :)

This years shotgun season (revolver for me) produced the following for Nick and I: Burger: 86 packages (approx. 1 lb) Tenderized minute steaks: 18 packages (approx 3 per package) Untenderized steaks: 8 packages (1 per package) Chops: 19 packages (4 per package) Loin: 1 Roasts: 7 I still have a bunch left from last year so had to do some shuffling and plug another freezer in. Gave my neighbor 4 packages of burger and 4 packages of minute steaks today too lol I need to do more home cooking and eat more of this, that is all there is to it. first like to say it did start of well for me. I could be here from day one; so I missed a day, my table got change, and I here without J.C. Update Again
Nathan came home from the hospital Friday evening. My daughter called me to make sure it was ok to leave him sleeping all wrapped up in a swaddling blanket. I laughed and said he probably prefers it that way! She called again last night saying she was having baby issues. I asked her what was wrong. She told me Nathan was hungry but wasn't drinking the formula and was just spitting out what he did get in his mouth. I told her he wasn't really hungry yet and to give him 20 minutes and try again. She had done the whole diaper routine so he wasn't in a messy diaper. He was just fussing. I told her that she would learn what each cry/fuss was really about soon and then she wouldn't be so worried that he wasn't eating when she thought he should. I wish I could be a fly on her wall watching her take care of her little one.

Getting Older
Last night at 7pm my time, my Aunt Nell passed away. I did not know my Aunt really well, she lived in Scotland along with all my relatives on my mom's side of the family. Mom was born and raised there. I felt extremely close to Nell though because she was one of the long-distance relatives that always sent a christmas card and a birthday card and other things to me while I was growing up. She visited us in the states many times over the years bringing her husband and my cousins with her on a number of those occasions. Growing up I didnt have many relatives in the states. My dad had a sister and an aunt, and he had two nephews. That was all the family I had in the states growing up, aside from my brothers and sisters, mom and dad. It was always the 7 of us on holidays and birthdays with the occasional visit from Dad's sister. Dad's aunt passed away when I was 16. His sister passed away in August of 2005 and he passed away in June of 2006. That put an end to dad's side of the family. I

I've Been Googled
Yesterday at my son's final basketball game my mother tells me that she googles people when she's bored. She googled my son's father and read the entire transcript of his appeal. i got a call from my mom yesterday telling me that my grandma will most likely not make it to see the end of next week...this is a really hard time for me...shes been in the hospital since august because she fell and broke her hip...shes gone through 2 hip rod surgeries, then a total hip replacement since then...now they say that she has an infection all through her and on monday they are goin to take out all the stuff they put in her for the surgeries...then they are goin to call in hospice...shes only in her 60's...she hasnt been the same since my grandfather passed in 05..she has dementia and her short term memory is completely gone...they ended up putting a feeding tube through her nose last week because she wouldnt eat...please pray that if she does pass..that she do it peacefully...shes been in so much pain the last few months...i wanna be selfish and say that i would like you to pray that she gets better...but i know that its not a likely outcome...i know shes in pain and all sh

Well i wanna drop few lines here for some people i care. I meet in the last past weeks few people..better to say i am talking about 3 of them, which i do like a lot and care. i am really glad i meet them. Reality is that slap in the face when you think you have the world by the tail and life seems to be moving at your own pace when you feel there is no way you can fail. Sugar Coated Pecans
Sugar Coated Pecans Yields: 12 servings "These slow-roasted whole pecans coated in an egg white and sugar glaze spiced with cinnamon make a wonderful snack for any occasion." INGREDIENTS: 1 egg white 1 tablespoon water 1 pound pecan halves 1 cup white sugar 3/4 teaspoon salt 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon DIRECTIONS: 1. Preheat oven to 250 degrees F (120 degrees C). 2 cups butter 24 oz. chocolate chips 4 cups flour 2 cups brown sugar 2 tsp. soda 1 tsp. salt 2 cups sugar 1 8 oz. Hershey Bar (grated) 5 cups blended oatmeal 4 eggs 2 tsp. baking powder 2 tsp. vanilla 3 cups chopped nuts (your choice) Measure oatmeal, and blend in a blender to a fine powder. Cream the butter and both sugars. Add eggs and vanilla, mix together with flour, oatmeal, salt, baking powder, and soda. Add chocolate chips, Hershey Bar, and nuts. Roll into balls, and place two inches apart on a cookie sheet. Bake for 10 minutes at 375 degrees. Makes 112 cookies.

Look, I love a good movie, but it really gets annoying when the writers cannot come up with something original. First, lets address horror movies. 1) Flesh eating monster running around, girl sees monster, monster sees girl, girl goes inside, runs upstairs to a room with no other way in or out. I can't understand why I must always be unhappy. Yes it's going to be a sad X-mas for my daughter. We have received a letter from childrens hospital this week. She will be taken in for surgery on both her legs this wednesday. And because she's not allowed to walk or stand on her legs after the surgery for 2 weeks we had to cancel all the arrangements we made. So this far i can only make it a great x-mas possible at home for her. because she needs to be taken care of loads it might happen that i won't be on fubar that often. sorry but the caring of my family comes first. she also won't be tending school now so i asked her teachers for homework to be send so she won't run behind in class. i pray for this surgery to have a good outcome and that she will walk flat-feeted in the end. But that's still a long way to go.
