DENVER – A good Samaritan who helped push three people out of the path of a pickup truck before being struck and injured has gotten a strange reward for his good deed: A jaywalking ticket. Family members said 58-year-old bus driver Jim Moffett and another man were helping two elderly women cross a busy Denver street in a snowstorm when he was hit Friday night. Moffett suffered bleeding in the brain, broken bones, a dislocated shoulder and a possible ruptured spleen. He was in serious but stable condition Wednesday. The Colorado State Patrol issued the citation. Trooper Ryan Sullivan said that despite Moffett's intentions, jaywalking contributed to the accident. Moffett had been driving his bus when the two women got off. In the interest of safety, he got out and, together with another passenger, helped the ladies cross. Moffett's stepson, Ken McDonald, said the driver of the pickup plowed into his stepfather, but not before Moffett pushed the two women out of the way.

I am 19 years old and a Psychology major. Though this rough draft idea paper… and blog is more of a Clinical Psychology paper, it is for one of my Psychology classes. I am a Forensic Psychology major, which is the same thing as a Criminal Psychologist. Upon debating one day with my professor on how to treat depression, he challenged me to a MLA Essay. I have been pondering out my ideas in my head and on paper, and the basic idea of this is how to treat an average man, woman, and/or couple going through a “mid-life crisis”. Someone or a couple who has recently or for a while been unhappy, bored, depressed, etc. I do not believe that a lot of times a “pill” is an answer. I should keep my mouth shut and not talk politics but that is part of who I am. I am an Obama fan for sure. Today he announced he would pull troops out of Iraq within the next 19 months and set an end date for that conflict. Republicans really have no need to object because it also conforms to a agreement Bush had already signed with the Iragi government. But some troops will remain there as non-combatants. My objection is that the news media (namely CNN) is not reporting to us why troops will remain behind, or why they cannot all come home or be re-stationed elsewhere. If the troops left behind are not going to fight anyone why have military guys there at all? Are we to think they cannot use their guns during there duties there? I do not think they will do anything "top secret" and so I want to know why we cannot make a clean break and allow for a total withdraw for all the troops. A Miracle
Just got home from the hospital. My oldest son and his friend had a wreck earlier tonight. My son was thrown out of the back seat and landed over 20 feet or so from the vehicle. The driver was stuck in his seat belt unconscious and my son crawled through the window to unhook him and he and the other boy pulled him through the window. Apparently it took them all a while to realize what had happen because when Thorne said he woke up in the field he realized he had dried blood already. Updates On My 13 Year Old Daughter! (lots Of People Have Been Asking)

Car With Corpse In Back Seat Given Seven Parking Tickets
GAINESVILLE — A car found in a Gainesville neighborhood with a dead body in the back seat had been ticketed seven times by city parking enforcement. Police found the body when a resident called authorities Monday afternoon to report the car, which had been parked on the street for days. March Tears
I hate the month of march. I had not even realized it was already here till i got out of the shower to check some of my other web pages. This month brings the worst memories of my life back... In march of 1996 my best fired turned 15, but by March 26th she was gone. She had gone down town to some shoping, left the shop of a family friend to call home. Jennifer never made it home for months no one even new what had happend or where she was. That summer a body was found on the side of an old rearly used road. it took dental records to id that it was her. The Venturea Ca police had to face the fact that she did not run away. so I went to clean my hard drive off, got a virus on it... thought I had everything backed up properly... decided to step down from vista to xp in hopes of having a few more gig's of hard drive space... installation went as normal... xp installed, had to spend an hour getting all my driver's loaded, then went to go reinstall my graphix program's from the cd's I just burned not even three hours prior... redundancy error's start flying up, I get the program to install finally, go to slam my plugin's into the folder, double click the familiar icon I have come to love, I even have it set in the same place as it was on vista... Horror Movies
Ok, I'm a huge horror fan, but it seems to me that the only movies that come out these days are crappy remakes that don't give credit to the originals, lame sequels, or american adaptations of Asian movies that end up sucking. What happened to the golden days where movies were actually terrifying? Movies like The Exorcist and the original Night of the Living Dead scared the shit out of me when i was a kid, especially the exorcist. One of the best horror flicks i've seen in recent years is The Exorcism of Emily Rose. That movie actually creeped me out. I've been absolutely desensitized to most horror for a long time, but that movie got to me. I don't know what you guys think, but i believe that hollywood needs to get off their asses and make a good movie instead of remakes and sequels.

Well Today My gram (85 yrs old) went to the hospital. She has been getting progressively worse. She can hardly walk, needs help to get up, messes herself, has had diarrhea for about 2 wks, barely eats anything, shakes almost all the time, and has labored breathing. Plz pray for her. Another Er Visit
Last night Chelsea, my now 11 year old (same one who had the kidney stone) pitched herself a royal hissy fit when hubby said she couldn't go to the gym with him (she'd been obnoxious all day and is also too young) so she stomped into her room and slammed the door. Clara, our 2 1/2 year old went to her room, probably to see what was up, opened the door and Chelsea hollered 'GET OUT' and slammed the door, right on Clara's baby finger on her left hand. Caitlin (14-year-old) had been in the hallway at the time and ran and got Clara's finger out of the door, and brought her to me, blood everywhere, the end of her finger just kind of hanging there, the nail was also just hanging, I'd never seen anything like that before. I covered it and tried to get it to stop bleeding, hubby called 911 and all the girls were around just screaming, Clara was screaming and crying and it was so noisy the 911 operator couldn't even hear what hubby was saying. Sorry guys, this isn't one of my infamous rants. This is me being a whiny brat. I was raised in Austin, TX. though oblivious at the time, I loved it there. Little 4 Year Old Cousin Has Cancer,please Read
My 4 year old little cousin is usually a happy little girl.That love's the outside and playing in the yard with her big sister,but as of Saturday the day that she was admitted into the hospital,she no longer does any of that.The doctors told her parents and family that she has Lymphoma Cancer and on top of that last night she got pneumonia.She is in so much pain that they had to put her in a medicated induced coma.Her parents are the only ones allowed in the room with her because the doctors are trying to keep the room as germ free as possible.She is only 4 and is going through so much right now.She needs as many people that can to pray for her.Please if you can get as many people as you can praying for her.Her name is Harley and she has the brightest smile.There are so many people that want to see that smile again,I am one of them.Please if you can take time out of your busy day and pray for a little girl that is going through so much in her young life.
