Tring To Find A Way To Deal
I am having are really hard time accepting the death of my dad. I am not sure if I ever will. I am trying to be strong for my mom because I know that is what my dad would want but, with each passing day it becomes harder and harder for me. A year ago today.. exactly, I bought an Xbox360/w/extended warranty and a JVC camcorder @ Best Buy in Findlay. The next day we had to exchange the xbox because it wouldn't work, and I also exchanged the JVC Camcorder for a Cannon mini DV one. Well yesterday when we were in Findlay we went to the BestBuy to exchange the xbox because its f'd up .. well they didn't have any.. so I asked them to check if Toledo BestBuy did.. they did. So today I called them told them to hold one because we had an exchange. We get there and the bish says oh yeah, we can't hold them and its been exchanged out all ready and no we don't have anymore o.O I said "Ok I'm trying to remain calm here, its not MY fault that your guy didn't know that and didn't tell me that" so then they start trying to figure out how to make it work out. Just When I Thought....
Just when I thought life couldn't suck any harder right now, boy was I fucking wrong! So I get a call at 8 something this morning from my sister. I'm usually excited when she calls because we grew up apart and I moved up here to be closer to her and so I could be a part of my niece's life. My beautiful niece was born 9/11/07 and I absolutly adore her! I've already started spoiling her. Anyway this morning's phone call has crushed me. She called and told me my niece Kylie was in the hospital, that they'd been there all night and she was being transfered to the Children's hospital in Minneapolis. They suspect that she's having seizures and right now have her hooked up to machines waiting to see if she has another one so they can confrim if she's having seizures or not. She's not even 4 months old yet and now this...I swear I know life isn't fair but does it rally have to suck this bad?! So if you pray please pray for my darling little niece, thanks.

So I, too, was one of the many people who complained about bouncer checks when you're rating profiles and pictures. I'm so sick of seeing mumms and blogs on the subject, so I'm going to clue you in on a little thing a "bouncer" told me... When you're rating pictures and profiles, bring up the page and allow it to load completely. Wait a couple seconds, and then rate. Continue on and on and on until you're sick of rating. I haven't had a bouncer check for quite awhile. So it must be working...

Well, as the playoffs start for the teams that made it. Its time to do a little review of my team and where they go from here.. The season started knowing it was a very difficult schedule. My pre-season projection was 6-10 or 7-9 and the team ended up right about there. There were some good things given that the team set a league record for players on IR prior to week 10. The season actually ended up being predictable. They beat the teams that should have beaten (like the Dolphins and Jets twice) and lost to teams they should have lost to (Like New England). About the only upset was the Redskins, who were coming off the loss of their Safety. And now its the offseason, the GM and Offensive Coordinator have left already. So their will definitely be some management changes. Just as this year with JP Losman, next year we go in with a QB with less than a year of starting experience in Trent Edwards. I'm listening to Stereolab and thinking to myself how there is really something beautiful about hearing someone singing sweetly in French. Of course, I think the same of anyone singing in Spanish. Unfortunately, I don't find Dutch or German quite as nice. The germanic languages just aren't suited as well to poetry as the romance languages are. Spanish is warm and Italian is languid and French is delicate. You could even hear the roughest bastard swearing in French and it would sound slightly refined. I don't know why. Maybe I'd be able to stand in front of him and smile, enjoying the sound of it because I don't understand a word he's saying. Well, I got a DUI in July of 2007 and I'm finally getting my DL back after it being suspended for 6 months with limited privileges. Thank God! It's Been 5 Days
It's been 5 days since my mom passed away. I'm struggling to move on, I know it's going to take time. Her funeral was friday 1/4/08 and that evening my kids and I got home late. I caught myself wanting to call her to tell her how beautiful the funeral was and I wanted to tell her how many peoeple were there. We lived close to each other but if there was a day that went by that I didn't see her she would always call me or I would call her. Fudgey Brownie Trifle
1 package (1 lb 2.3 oz) Betty Crocker® fudge brownie mix 2/3 cup vegetable oil 1/4 cup water 1 tablespoon instant coffee granules or crystals 2 eggs 1 box (4-serving size) chocolate fudge instant pudding and pie filling mix 2 cups cold milk 1 bag (8 oz) toffee bits 1 container (8 oz) frozen whipped topping, thawed 1. Heat oven to 350ºF. Grease bottom only of 13x9-inch pan. In medium bowl, stir brownie mix, oil, water, coffee granules and eggs until well blended. Spread in pan. 2. Bake 28 to 30 minutes or until toothpick inserted 2 inches from side of pan comes out clean or almost clean. Cool completely, about 1 hour. 3. Cut brownies into 1-inch squares. Lemonade Party Cake
1 box Betty Crocker® SuperMoist® lemon or yellow cake mix Water, vegetable oil and eggs called for on cake mix box 1 can (6 oz) frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed 3/4 cup powdered sugar 1 container Betty Crocker® Whipped fluffy white or fluffy lemon frosting Yellow colored sugar, if desired 1. Heat oven to 350°F (325°F for dark or nonstick pan). Make cake as directed on box for 13x9-inch pan. Cool 15 minutes. 2. Mix lemonade concentrate and powdered sugar. Pierce top of warm cake every 1/2 inch with long-tined fork, wiping fork occasionally to reduce sticking. Drizzle lemonade mixture evenly over top of cake. Run knife around sides of pan to loosen cake. Cover and refrigerate about 2 hours or until chilled. 3. Spread frosting over top of cake. Sprinkle with sugar. Store covered in refrigerator. Nobody ever said that getting old would be this fucked up. Passed Away
My Grandma PHX passed away on the 26th of December. I really don't know how to fell. I really want to cry but I cant. Its hard to explain the relationship with my grandma. Growing up we saw her every spring break and every other Christmas. She was different not the one to hug first or say I love u. She would quilt blankets through out the year and we got quilts every Christmas. The service was held on Jan 3,2008. In PHX. Its was nice to get away and see family but ths is not the way. I'm still drained from the quick trip. All I want to do is sleep but I can't .

To The Victors!!!
I totally give the Jacksonville Jaguars and their team the utmost respect. Tonight even when they seemed to of blew a huge lead kept face and won a great game!!! Their QB has and will continue to have my utmost respect. Over the years of struggles with family to his health he definitely held his faith in him making it. He has used his faith and overcome some of the greatest adversity that I've seen of any man. To my team, we had an awesome year mainly for our new coach and the toughness he had throughout. The injuries at the end had killed us, but in the same breath so did those key mistakes of some on this team speaking before taking action have hurt this team. To the Steeler faithful, Next year is here and soon training camp!! We still have our Penguins and the hope of a cup!!! Depressed Right Now
I guess I should be happy because he is getting overtime, but I got my mom to babysit the baby for me so we could have the night to ourselves. He is going into work at around midnight. I want so bad to tell him to stay, but I don't have the courage. Erick seems to not want me around tonight, so I guess he should just go to work. I don't know how to tell him I want him to stay. hello friends~ I have been quite busy these last few days doing absolutely nothing. No appointments to go to so I just hung out here at the house. I did go to my friend's house today back in Greenwood for a baby shower for her daughter. I had a good time. It was good to be with my friends again. Next week will be a busy one for me. I have something to do everyday. Nothing medical until Thursday though. We all have a dentist appointment this week and I have to go pick up the kids' pic at Sears.
