Trying To Understand The Heart

I have just recently applied for the job of grounds superintendant. I hope i get it. Its a big promotion for me...i wil be the BOSS. I Think I'm Addicted To Work Lol
Well i worked 6 days last week at 9-10 hours a day and i think it got the best of me this morning. What i do is called replenishing at the safeway distribution warehouse. I work up in the towers, all boxes are labeled with number, i cut open all the boxes and cut the plastic on all products than send them down it's appropriate shoot for orders to be packaged before being shipped out. If the shoots are full we have to understock them, which means put them under the shelf. Well i had a dream that i was working and i was looking for a certain box that was in understock, so i woke up, went into my pants pocket and pulled out my lighter, lit it than looked around for the understock box, than is when i asked myself..what the hell am i doing, i'm at home in bed so i put the lighter away, got up and came on the computer for a bit than went back to bed.

I Don't Know What To Do
I am just so confused right now. I don't know where to go in my life. High Maintainance
Okay. So I always thought I was pretty easy going and fairly easy to please. I've always associated the term "High Maintainance" to money or material items. It just dawned on me, though that I AM high maintainance. Not because of material things. I am perfectly content as long as my needs are being met. For example, if I have food on the table, a roof over my head, clothing to wear, a working vehicle, internet service, a telephone. I don't care about jewelery, cars, gifts. However EMOTIONALLY I am high maintainance. I guess it takes a lot to keep me happy emotionally. I require a lot of attention. If I don't feel like I'm getting enough attention, I become dissatisified(sp.). I require a lot of reassuring. I think it's sad that I am like that. I started my prescription this morning, a tiny white pill that really didnt look like it could do much. took it and felt high as a kite for about ten minutes, then rembered it said "take with food" so i stuffed down a banana and laid down til the dizziness wore off. after that, i didn't notice any side effects whatsoever. they say that you can smoke the first few days of treatment and i'd fully planned on doing that. so i'd light up when i felt the urge. at the end of the day though, i counted up my cigarettes and realized i only smoked half of what my normal amount is. Hot Summer Days
It was a hot summer day and the airconditioning was broken. I was having my boyfriend over for a home cooked meal and a quiet night alone. Where we can set one of the pics within the album as the cover.. For NSFW albums, have a set folder that has "NSFW" on it, so ppl can't put NSFW pics on those covers.. For private, family, or friends only albums, make it so that you see "Private", "Family", or "Friends" on it unless you have permission to view it, that way the person can still have a cover that is ONLY viewable by those with permission.. Then make the albums show up as albums on a whole page with titles beneath them, instead of down the side, including the default album.. Decisions Made...
As many of you may or may not know i have been embroiled in this internal struggle with the values of my employer. The fire at his property across the parking lot from where i work and live which was also his property has been the deciding factor in my decision finally to leave his employment. New Semester Is Going To Kick My Butt
Well the web page that allows me access to all my classes became availble today. I am talking 12 hours, 4 classes, they are "Special topics in Mortuary science", "Mortuary Management II", "Mortuary Jurisprudence" and " Sociology of death and dying". Well looking at my class schedule, and the assigments. I am going to be one busy puppy. And it looks like I am going to be doing a lot of writing. After this semester I will only have 12 more hours till I will have my license for funeral director and then will get to start all the fun classes for my embalmer license. Well at least I have a couple days headstart on my classes (another small advantage to taking classes online, the regular students have to wait till monday to find out what they are into. It is a Rob Reiner film that deals with death and how these two guys played by Morgan Freeman and Jack Nicholson deal with a prognosis that they have terminal cancer and months to live. It makes for a movie that while it has some great comedic moments, its about a difficult subject. How do you handle that type of news? What would you do in such a situation? How about faith? Would such a notice cause you to find god? As they travel the world, there are dialogs on how different cultures handle death and the afterlife. Overall, I enjoyed the film. Its a good story with good actors. The comedy is enough to help you connect with the characters so the impact with the end comes, does evoke an emotional response. At least it did in the theater I was in. IT definitely makes you think.

Dad At The Mall...(good Joke)
I took my dad to the mall the other day to buy some new shoes. We decide to grab a bite at the food court. I noticed he was watching a teenager sitting next to him. The teenager had spiked hair in all different colors: green, red, orange, and blue. My dad kept staring at him. The teenager would look and find him staring every time. When the teenager had enough, he sarcastically asked, 'What's the matter old man, never done anything wild in your life?' Knowing my Dad, I quickly swallowed my food so that I would not choke on his response, knowing he would have a good one. Montezuma Bowl
This weekend marks the opening of Montezuma Bowl up in Arapahoe Basin. Its the largest addition of terrain in the national, almost doubling the size of this ski area. Went up to the mountains on Friday. Snowing like crazy up there. Had snow knee deep in many places. A-Basin is located right on the great divide, making it one of the closest ski areas to Denver. Its also one of the few that have a lease arrangement that let them stay open into the summer months. They frequently stay open till July 4th. I recommend checking it out!
